    “A really lovely relaxing holiday, great location with wonderful views.”

    Well maintained. New pool area brilliant but would be better if it was open until at least 6pm/7pm so you could go for a swim and a drink after a day out. Spacious comfortable lodge with loads of storage. Only negative is there was hardly any kitchen equipment meaning you had to keep washing up instead of using dishwasher. We had family staying nearby and there wasn’t really enough plates etc to feed 8. Double the amount of crockery/ cups needed and a salad and fruit bowl etc.

Lodge 74 at Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat is a well-appointed, single-storey lodge set in a laid-back coastal spot just outside the picturesque fishing town of Brixham.

Ideal for couples, families and friends, this welcoming retreat offers a comfortable base for exploring South Devon’s coastline, with off-road parking adding everyday convenience.

Inside, the lodge is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with contemporary interiors and all the mod cons you’d expect for a relaxed break.

The open-plan living space is designed for sociable stays, bringing together the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, while an electric fire creates a warm, inviting feel during winter escapes.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to evening meals, and there’s plenty of space to sit back and unwind with the TV after a day outdoors.

Dartmouth 5 miles; Paignton 6 miles; Torquay 8 miles.

Brixham is a working fishing harbour located on the southern side of Torbay, the area known as The English Riviera, famed for its sunny mild climate all year round. The focal point of the harbour is a life size replica of The Golden Hind, Sir Francis Drake’s ship. The prettiest part of Brixham has small cottages in hilly narrow winding lanes leading to the harbour where all the activity is centred. Home to Britain’s largest fishing fleet which regularly lands their catch in the harbour, Brixham fish market sells to major restaurants in the UK. Brixham is the ideal destination for a traditional holiday with many family attractions around Torbay including two Blue Flag beaches, Paignton Zoo and many regattas and maritime events throughout the year. There are a host of safe cycle trails in the area, the South West Coastal Path and some of the best golf courses in the region. A good mix of relaxation or action, to suit all ages, where you are never far from the sea.
