    “Sunset Cottage was everything we expected and more.”

    From the moment we arrived, it felt incredibly homely and cosy – the perfect place to relax and unwind. Every detail had clearly been thought through, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel instantly at ease. Barnstaple enjoys a superb location at the mouth of the Taw Estuary, on the spectacular North Devon coastline between Westward Ho! and Croyde and is a short drive from the Exmoor National Park. Barnstaple is a busy traditional Devon coastal town with a pannier market, shops, restaurants and bars, along with two fabulous sandy beaches, which are popular with surfers and families. The town is renowned for its floral displays having won a Britain in Bloom award and flowers are found around every corner of the town in the most unusual places.
