Lovely place but could be fantastic with a few updates and additions.

Sofa really needs replacing, proper blind in the twin bedroom and simple things like baking trays. Also a huge hole in the wall in the kitchen? Please make it more obvious in the listing that it is not a ground floor property. Grass in garden is not big enough for dogs. Could provide blankets for sofa as not able to change heating. Surrounding area and facilities are great.

Excellent holiday cottage.

Lovely place to stay. Welcoming and clean. Facilities on the grounds were very very good. Made a great base to explore the local beaches.

We booked our 5 day break last minute and found cottage adequate for 3 adults plus service dog.

It is a little challenging having to cope with uneven steps to car parking space. Cottage was clean and had all that we needed for a short stay. However I was very disappointed to see two very scratched non stick pans; both unsafe to use and should be replaced.

Enclosed garden is fine but as we had dogs would have expected a lot more grass for them than a postage stamp.

Worst thing was the electric coffee maker which had not been cleaned out, had old pods still in it, smelt terrible and water in the system was a greeny brown colour. Would have been fine as there was a cafetiere but this had an unwashed filter and full of coffee granules. Cottages are no smoking which is fine as we don't however cottage gets very warm with the temperatures we had during our stay opened windows and got all the smoke blown in from cottage next door all evening. Was a real downside and made the place stink and also meant sitting outside was off the agenda when they were out. Lovely site with lots of facilities just let down by some poor choices, lay out and attention to detail in the cleanliness of some kitchen appliances.

Almost everything that you would need supplied. Indoor & outdoor pools great but could be warmer. List to book the indoor pool taken advantage of by others booking days in advance, so no chance of prime times!! Inside sofas at end of life, as you sink a long way down! The fridge doesn't have a freezer compartment, so as we go out there is nowhere to freeze our ice packs. Weather typically August in the UK and changeable. Great time though and highly recommended.

A lovely cottage and very well equipped.

A small freezer or even a freezer compartment in the fridge would have been useful for ice packs/ice cubes for picnics etc. A few more mugs? Slightly outnumbered by the number of wine glasses!!

We found the property very comfortable and well equipped, and the facilities on site were excellent.

The scones waiting for us on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated!

Generally a good stay.

Sofas uncomfortable and in need of replacing. Don’t recall the listing saying you had a flight of stairs to be on the living space.

Great location, lovely pools and tennis court.

Comfy bed. Perfect for families.

Lovely cottage.

Well equipped, perfect location for exploring devon. Our toddler loved the indoor pool but it was very cold so could only stay a short while. We tried to leave it as clean as we arrived but unfortunately the hoover wouldnt work properly so we couldnt do that to a good standard. The door lock also was a bit dodgey and resulted in is getting locked out one evening, also difficult to lock when leaving. Could do with a new one! Overall would reccomed this place.

Clean, comfy, green.

Good food around. Ideal for short breaks.
