“Pros: - beautiful modern bungalow - the best views of ilfracombe - lovely and clean with a lot of amenities - friendly neighbours - perfect location - spacious and comfortable Cons: - two rolls of toilet paper for a week, for a place that sleeps five!”

    - late check in and early check out (5pm vs 10am) - a large list of chores to do before leaving (strip beds, put towels in bags, hoover?!) - four different coffee makers, but the only coffee provided were some cheap instant sachets. Overall I’d still thoroughly recommend the properly. It’s perfectly located for Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas (less than a twenty minute walk to Hele bay!) but it felt a little like the owners were penny pinching, especially considering the cost ...

Overall I’d still thoroughly recommend the properly. It’s perfectly located for Ilfracombe and the surrounding areas (less than a twenty minute walk to Hele bay!) but it felt a little like the owners were penny pinching, especially considering the cost. There were also utensils for a BBQ, but not actually a BBQ, and also there was a broken sunshade under the decking which would have been very useful in the recent heatwave! It’s the first cottage we’ve stayed in where we actually left the day before because we didn’t think we could complete the cleaning tasks before 10am! Final thing to say, there were a lot of posters on all of the walls reminding you of these chores and checkout times, like a constant reminder! I promise though, sitting out on the decking watching the sea, you’ll forget about it all!
