Jane “Lovely cabin, Just a few minor details for example, No instructions how to use any of the appliances, No information pack , No visitors book.”
Tv in main room unsuitable for gaming or firestick so needs updating. Apart from these few things we had a lovely stay.
Tv in main room unsuitable for gaming or firestick so needs updating. Apart from these few things we had a lovely stay.
Thankyou Jane, your comments are noted. For future reference to guests, there are instruction manuals for each appliance in the kitchen drawer, should they be needed. We almost take for granted that most people holidaying have homes of their own and assume most everyday appliances are self explanatory. There are many leaflets on the book shelf of things to do in the surrounding area as well as a pack in the kitchen. A welcome leaflet & card is presented, with our direct numbers on, should anyone need anything whilst holidaying, we are 5 mins away and more than happy to assist with any queries. We do from the very start, have good communications with our guests. When they make contact prior to arrival to receive the entry instructions, we exchange messages and make it known we’re always on hand. Other important numbers for doctors, vets, pharmacy etc are also within. There’s a detailed map of the village itself provided with directions to the tourist information office and their contact number. Our ‘guest’ book is currently full, but will be replaced at the earliest convenience. We also find that if guests leave a review in the book they are less likely to do so online which doesn’t help potential visitors when they are making decisions and looking to book a holiday, only when they are already there. We will look at the television situation as I’m not sure which is referred to here, but Thankyou, this is the first time it’s been brought to our attention. Previous guests have indeed brought gaming consoles and firesticks, so we will investigate further as to why you weren’t able to plug them in. There is a large smart tv in the main lounge and each bedroom houses its own smaller tv, also smart, with the main, king en-suite bedroom, hosting an actual TV bed! Jane, we’re pleased you all enjoyed your stay nonetheless, but a shame you weren’t 100 percent satisfied, for this we can only apologise. We will look into the minor details and rectify any issues raised. Property Owner
