“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Field View.”

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is a lot larger than we thought it would be, and was the perfect cosy bolthole for our Christmas stay. Mike and Nicola had decorated the space for Christmas and left us eggs from their chickens (delicious!) along with other supplies. Very thoughtful! We loved popping in to say hello to the horses and meeting the lovely Molly and Lily, who interacted with our dog so nicely. The bed and sofa are SO comfortable, much time was spent lounging and watching ...

The town has excellent buildings with charming stone and Tudor architecture, and there is also fascinating history in the town stretching back over 1000 years including a 10th century monastery.
