The property

This modern duplex flat is located in the middle of Kingswear, Devon's lively harbour village.

Ferryside is the ideal location for those seeking a trip to this great Devonshire hotspot, as it is just a short distance from the ferry to Dartmouth and a multitude of attractions such as the steam railway, coastal walks and the River Dart.

Situated in the heart of the historic village this is a vibrant location, ideal for people watching, with the steam trains from Paignton arriving with passengers en-route for the ferries to Dartmouth and the regular 'clang' as the car ferry lowers its ramp onto the slipway nearby. At times this is a busy and bustling location but you couldn't wish for a more convenient location close to the quay and the river.

All the windows have been replaced with UPVC double glazing: ideal if it does get a bit noisy!

The first of the bedrooms is on the ground level, with a king-size bed and Smart TV, as well as a dazzling bathroom with bath and shower over.

Also on the ground floor is a fully fitted utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Stairs with concealed lighting lead off the hallway to a fantastic open-plan living area with a modern finish and plenty of natural light to brighten the space.Sit back and relax on the sofas and armchairs, watching your favourite shows on the 50 inch Smart TV or reflecting on your vacation so far.

The kitchen, which is equipped with a variety of gadgets and elegant units, is a delightful space to prepare meals.A patio door opens to a tiny outdoor area with a bistro table and seats, perfect for people watching.

The spacious master bedroom offers another king-size bed with TV, as well as a contemporary en-suite shower room.

Nearby, there are a variety of cafes, art galleries, stores, and boutique eateries to explore, all set on the stunning waterfront; notable restaurants include The Seahorse Restaurant and Bushell's Riverside. The 16th-century Kingswear Castle is located close by.

There are some scenic walks on the doorstep, with the property situated only a few yards from the South West Coast path.If you are feeling fit, then take the stunning coast path to the National Trust Coleton Fishacre Art Deco House and gardens, or walk alongside the river to Greenway to visit Agatha Christie's Greenway House (also National Trust) with the option of ferries back to Dartmouth or across the River to the charming Dittisham village.

Make memories together at Ferryside.
