Step into the well-fitted kitchen which has everything needed to create delicious cuisine for the family and when it’s time to serve up, take a seat at the elegant dining table and look forward to leisurely meals together.
The children will be delighted with their cool bunk bedroom and once the little angels are in bed, the grown ups can enjoy a glass of their favourite tipple on the balcony and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea in the distance.
When it is time for the adults to get some shut-eye, they can make their way to the double bedroom and in the morning, there is a contemporary shower room where you can freshen up before heading out to discover the delights of Devon.
Sunny View is in such a wonderful location with the gorgeous sandy beach of Dawlish Warren on the doorstep as well as a fantastic selection of stylish shops and eateries, a golf course and an internationally renowned nature reserve, known as a roosting site for a large number of birds.
Hop on the local train and travel along the coast going to Exeter in one direction and Newton Abbot in the other with some amazing scenery to enjoy along the way, in fact the whole coastline in this area is known as the ‘English Riviera’ so make sure you stop off and stay awhile to soak up the unique atmosphere.
Attractions worth visiting include Paignton Zoo, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Crealy Adventure Park and Pennywell Farm with towns to call past along the way including Torquay, Dartmouth and Ashburton.

The apartment was nice and located in a good place for getting around.
The view from the patio is lovely and was very peaceful and quiet. However, there were a few serious issues with the cleanliness. The bed linen hadn't been changed from the previous guests. The pillowcases were heavily stained as was the bottom sheet. Sykes did contact the owner and the bed linen was changed very quickly. The shower room had a very strong and unpleasant smell that didn't go away the whole time we were there and the extractor fan situated directly above the shower was full of dirt and cobwebs. The sofa and pillows had a very strong stale smell and needed a good clean. The sofa felt greasy. The table and chairs on the patio had dead insects and leaf debris all over, which we had to clean so we could sit outside. The whole apartment generally smelled stale.
The property was in a great location and the kitchen was fantastic.
Very nice balcony and the bed were comfy. The bathroom, whilst looking nice and modern had an awful, strong smell that remained the whole 7 days, we bought replacement sprays for the glade that had ran out when we first arrived but the smell still overpowered it. Our two girls really had a hard time staying in there to shower and use the toilet as the smell was pretty terrible. The apartment also seemed very dusty and my partner spent a bit of time cleaning the kitchen sides down before using it and alot of the plates and cups were still dirty from the guest prior to us. Also It would have been nice to have some bedside lamps in the main bedroom as the main light was the only light. Other than these few downsides, the place was a great space to come back too after a day out and we had a nice holiday. Thanks again. Mr burley.
The Wifi speed was ridiculously slow compared to when we stayed in 2023.
And the front door need some maintenance as the key sticks in the barrel and the door is hard to lock. Other than that it was a lovely and we booked this year on the back of our experience in 2023..
