The property

This neat, single-storey chalet is set in a spectacular waterside location overlooking Plymouth Sound and directly out to sea.

Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, six miles from Plymouth, the chalet offers wonderful coastal walks right from the door, and with a choice of beaches within walking distance this makes this the perfect base for a holiday by the sea.

From the open plan living area with glazed patio doors you're able to admire the ever changing views. To the front, those sea vistas continue from the patio where a table and chairs are the perfect spot to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining and watch the sunset over the sea.

Two double bedrooms share a family bathroom and offer a restful place to stay.

On site is a small shop and cafe and there are two good pubs in the village at nearby Down Thomas.

Join the South West Coastal Path right from the door, or try your hand at a spot of fishing, paddle boarding or a variety of water sports nearby.

Just six miles away is Devon's Ocean City of Plymouth; travel to Mountbatten and take a water taxi across to the historic Barbican, The National Marine Aquarium and a variety of restaurants and bars in smart Royal William Yard.

The famous Plymouth Hoe holds many events throughout the year including the British firework competition and is home to Smeaton’s Tower, The Royal Citadel and the Tinside Lido, an open air swimming pool.

Further afield, cross the Tamar by ferry and spend a day exploring Cornwall, or why not spend a day on the moors?

Dartmoor National Park is also within easy reach.

With so much to see and do, 59 Bovisand Park is an ideal choice for a perfect Devon holiday.
