The sitting area is a great spot to relax and unwind, with two plush sofas and a woodburning stove to add a rustic charm. Gather around the dining table for six and enjoy a delicious meal before heading outside to explore the tranquil outdoors.

Whiddon Down 3.1 miles; Okehampton 10.5 miles.

Hittisleigh is a small, rural village set in mid Devon, located a couple of miles north of the A30 between Exeter and Okehampton. The village is home to the Parish Church of St Andrews, built in the early medieval time with many later historic features such as reputedly the oldest church bells in Devon. Three miles away lies the hamlet of Whiddon Down, home to a fine pub, whilst further afield is the market town of Okehampton, where visitors can explore the ruins of Okehampton Castle, a prominent landmark and testament to the town’s medieval past, or explore several galleries and workshops that celebrate the creativity of local artists. The spectacular Dartmoor National Park is easily accessible and boasts a myriad of walking and hiking trails, spanning through unspoiled countryside and local wildlife.
