Our young grandchildren were able to see cows being milked, calves being born, feed calves, fish for minnows in the nearby stream and build dams, fly kites on the hillside, see 3-day old puppies, chickens, pigs, cats dogs, and play safely in the garden with many toys to enjoy. We were also able to enjoy the local beaches and go mackerel fishing as well. All in all a wonderful family holiday. Thank you.”

The Property

On the edge of Woodbridge hamlet, ¾ mile from Farway, is Hornshayne Farmhouse, a large, beautiful and imposing thatched farmhouse adjoining the owners’ cottage in the midst of this busy, working, 335 acre dairy/arable farm (you're welcome to help feed calves). There’s been a house here since Saxon times; ‘gentrified’ in the 1700s, this farmhouse retains many original and fascinating features (still a salting cupboard and ceiling chamber in the kitchen).
