Well situated for visiting Torquay, Brixham and other places of interest.

Ocean retreat was a fabulous holiday home it was spotlessly clean the welcome gifts was much appreciated would certainly return.

The property was very well equipped, clean and we particularly appreciated the airiness and fans during a hot stay.

Very well placed for local amenities and for getting to the rich variety of places to visit in the area. The owner was very helpful and responsive.’

Ocean Retreat provides comfortable, clean and well maintained accommodation.

Everything was there that we needed. There are sea views from the dining area and front bedroom. It is situated in a quiet residential area with easy access to Goodrington, Paignton, Brixham, Torquay and Dartmoor. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk away. We used the frequent service to Paignton and Brixham. We would highly recommend and would definitely book again if in the area.

Spacious modern town house.

Had everything needed. Great location to get about- 20mins walk to Oyster Cove or Goodrington Beach. Supermarkets nearby. Lots of choices of things to see and do- had 8 different days out while we were there- could easily come again and do 8 totally new things. Stunning place to visit in spring

The property is well maintained and clean, it was lovely coming back here after a day exploring the surrounding areas: On our holiday, we have enjoyed visiting Dartmouth via the steam train and ferry) as well as Paignton zoo. We even had a nice takeaway from 'Jade "Chinese. The house is a great base for our travels. Thank you ever so much for the welcome pack, the bottle of prosecco was a lovely treat-we hope to visit again soon!

Nice and peaceful, ideal for bus route which is a 10 minute walk.

Parking on drive so no road parking which is safer. Very comfortable bed and seating in lounge. Overall very good.

Clean, modern house with all the facilities that you would expect.

It was almost too warm (upstair radiators could not be turned down). Good use was made of the cooker, dishwasher and the bathrooms and everything worked as it should.Excellent WiFi. Parking and access was a little tight but we managed ok. An ideal base for us and we had a lovely time

Conveniently situated for what we wanted to do. Would book again as still so much to do and see in the area. Fantastic holiday helped by wall to wall sunshine.

Our 3rd time staying here we absolutely love it home from home everything you will ever need exactly as the photos with secure parking and a sun trap garden to the rear owners have considered to all needs and as always a wonderful welcoming pack which is much appreciated the house is over 3 floors main bedroom as a view of the sea in the distance the house is spotless and very well maintained which is why we are happy to return each year

The property was beautiful, very clean & in a lovely quiet cul de sac.

The location of the house was prefect for getting around Devon, I highly recommend the property & I would use it again.

It’s a really nice house and we had a lovely holiday there. Broadsands beach is a little gem.

Lovely house and very comfortable with everything we needed at hand.

The views were stunning. Excellent bus service. The only slight downside for us was the very steep hills. We struggled a bit at times but managed. Didn’t spoil our overall enjoyment of the house and the areas we visited.

The accommodation and facilities were perfect.

The place was clean,tidy, and comfortable. We had a lovely week in Ocean Retreat, the only disappointment of our holiday was the weather !!!

The house had everything for a comfortable stay, was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood.

The only drawback was the location-it wasn’t easy to find and there was nowhere within easy walking distance. It served our needs very well as it was a good central area to visit many locations by driving from Salcome to Sidmouth and even RHS Rosemoor. Overall we really enjoyed our stay -just wish the weather had been better.

This holiday home is outstanding the property is spotless shout out to Lucy the house keeper. One of the best homes we have stayed in. It is very comfortable everything you could ever need we love the fact it has a garden area to chill out. Parking is another firm favourite this place has to offer. Definitely will be returning the owners have made it a beautiful home from home couldn’t ask for anything more and thank you for the lovely welcome pack full of goodies most appreciated

Hi We have had a lovely 7 day holiday at Ocean Retreat.

The property is superb in all respects. Clean rooms and furniture. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lovely quiet area and central for Torquay Paignton Brixham and Dartmouth.  We would gladly return if the opportunity arises. B and B Hunter  23rd March 2024

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Retreat.

Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds and sofa were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated the welcome gifts that were left for us; a very kind touch. We were not keen on Paignton, the nearest beach resort, which is full of amusement arcades and junk food, but Brixham was not too far away and is far nicer. We also went to several other interesting places in the area: the Berry Head Napoleonic forts, Totnes, Dartmouth, Kingswear, Coleton Fishacre, the Dartmoor prison museum at Princetown, Torquay (for the theatre) and Cockington. Just one suggestion: please provide a mirror in the bathroom; no mirror makes shaving and styling wet hair awkward.

We found ocean retreat a lovely house in a very quiet friendly area near the coast.

This is a nice decent house with a nice garden in a quiet area, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Very clean property.

Quiet area and lovely view of the sea. Had everything you needed for your stay except maybe a make-up / shaving mirror in the bathroom was the only thing missing in our opinion. Decor and furnishings were lovely. Thanks for a lovely stay.
