    “Lovely property, with lots of space and wonderful, pastoral views of the Devon countryside.”

    The place is only a 5 min drive into Tavistock with Dartmoor just further beyond. The property was well equipped and well maintained, and the owners were nearby and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back again.

Hurdwick Lodge is an exquisite holiday home that can accommodate eight guests for a relaxing, self-catered escape ideally located with Dartmoor National Park to the east and the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the west.

Hurdwick Lodge is situated on pristine, private parkland on the outskirts of the charming Devonshire market town of Tavistock and enjoys exceptional, far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside.

As you approach your new home-away-from-home, which features off-road parking for up to four cars and a tastefully-decorated, open-plan living area, take in the stunning landscapes of the surrounding parkland.

Once you've selected your bedroom, get to work in the kitchen, which is fully-furnished and has all the gadgets you'll need to prepare a delicious meal for the whole family to enjoy at the dining table.

After dinner, unwind in the sitting area that features dual aspect windows showcasing your beautiful rural location.

Here, you and your loved ones can watch a film on the Smart TV whilst catching up on the day's events.

As day turns to night, refresh with a reviving shower or perhaps an enjoyable bath before retiring for a well-deserved rest.

The four well-appointed bedrooms include a spacious first-floor master suite with a king-size bed, dressing area and en-suite bathroom.

Across a small courtyard from the entrance to Hurwick Lodge is a detached 2 storey annex providing a further 5th bedroom on the first floor, and a shower room on the ground floor.

Larger parties will enjoy the games room on the ground floor of the annex with it's pool table that cleverly converts to a table tennis table.
