  • “A really lovely appartment with stunning views and all the facilities one could wish for and within very easy walking distance of the town and its facilities.”

One word of caution that except for one small restaurant in town all the others say they are all reserved with bookings well in advance several say they are fully booked for the next 3 months, so be prepared either to travel away from the town for a nice meal or dine on fish and chips or Wetherspoons fare.

For a large stretch of soft golden sands and white waves ideal for surfing a short drive will take you to Woolacombe, perfect for enjoying an ice cream on the beach!

A journey to the historic market town of Barnstaple is worth a visit and offers some good shopping along with cinema and plenty of nightlife.

Lynton and Lynmouth are close by and boast a water powered funicular which connects the two towns and are set where the sea meets Exmoor National Park.

The park is a fabulous day out for walkers and cyclists offering outstanding scenery and some wonderful spots for a picnic, take a wonderful walk along Watersmeet, where you can stop and have lunch at the cafe by the waters edge and dip your toes in the cool river.
