Lynton and Lynmouth are close by and boast a water powered funicular which connects the two towns and are set where the sea meets Exmoor National Park. The park is a fabulous day out for walkers and cyclists offering outstanding scenery and some wonderful spots for a picnic, take a wonderful walk along Watersmeet, where you can stop and have lunch at the cafe by the waters edge and dip your toes in the cool river.
