Wow, what a lovely house.

Spotlessly clean throughout, very comfortable beds, crisp white linen & soft fluffy towels. We couldn't have asked for better. The house is in a perfect location, walking distances to the beach, pier & town. Great central place for exploring the area. We had our teenage grandchildren with us, they had the best time. Thank you for a great holiday home from home.

The kitchen is well equipped and it was nice to be able to eat outside. The beds were comfy and the fan in the master bedroom was ideal during the heatwave we just had I don't think we would have coped without! Would stay here again Only little gripe I would have is something needs doing with the radiator in the bathroom. It is very rusty and full of fluff its a bit off putting really but that's just being picky

We loved 5 Stafford Road, it was spacious and had everything we needed, including all utensils and cookware in the kitchen.

The location is excellent, near the railway station, shops and sea front. I would highly recommend 5 Stafford Road.

It is near the shops, beach and pier. We will certainly book this accommodation again in the future should the dates we require be available.

Absolutely beautiful house, and well looked after.

Our stay was very pleasant although we did encounter a few ants in our food cupboard this did not detract from the overall rating.

Situated near the front of the beach, shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

A great property with a homely feel and a well equipped kitchen.

Ideally located for walking to the promenade or watching steam trains. Also easy access to the rest of Devon for days out exploring.

This is our 3rd time staying at 5 Stafford road every time we have been we have been kept well informed prior to our arrival by owner Zoe house has everything you could need spotlessly clean for us it's like home from home we love the property and location so much so we have already booked for next year Steve bev and Ian

bath dirty, toilet dirty, toilet loose seat & seat doesn’t fit pan properly, no outside light, several light bulbs need replacing (or otherwise fixed), lounge door doesn’t shut properly, holes in bedroom doors, net curtains fall down poor design & not fit for purpose, poor microwave performance belong in a museum as an antique, socket points/electric extension leads dangerously overloaded & tangled up, bathroom tap falls off & poor distribution of water, bath drain needs cleaning exceptionally poor drainage, various surfaces dusty, no instructions for appliances, inaccurate property information e.

g. describes washing machine and tumble dryer as separate not one machine where dryer id ineffective, no access to cellar described in property details; kitchen poor range of equipment. No outside cushions as indicated on property information. Atrocious owner communication especially timing but essentially owner doesn’t respond. Fridge/freezer freezes up and the temperature cannot be properly regulated properly. Presume gas pipe dangerously lurks in dining room waiting for someone to break their foot on. Airer dangerously broken that nearly took someone’s eye out upon opening. Washer dryer very badly performance that needed cleaning before use. Stupid high tog rated thick duvets in summer. lack of sufficient electric sockets in rooms where some are covered/hidden by furniture. internet is slow lags a lot. Main bedroom curtains doesn’t cover all of window so let’s in some light. sink plugs don’t lift fully consequently water drains very slowly, could also be partly blocked. Toilet door with 5 holes in about size of ten pence coin. TV in bedroom stuck on 1 channel and can’t adjust anything including turning TV off unless unplug it from electric socket. No way of holding a very dirty sun umbrella up for garden bench making it unusable. TV aerial wire curled up hanging from ceiling in bedroom attached to nothing. Poorly equipped kitchen. Garden unkempt and areas around. Dirty rubbish left at the property and not collected (no surprise though as basic instructions missing). All in all, the worse property ever set foot in and glad to get away from. Worst holiday experience ever. Property not as described. No access to parts of. Access to parts including enjoyment of equipment restricted/unavailable. Time effort costs incurred to make parts just about barely ‘acceptable’.

Amazing location.

Easy parking. We didn't use the car once. Everything close by including bus station and train station. House is a great size and TV with channels an added bonus. No problems all week.

Lovely property, so close to the beach and with off road parking

The house was really nice, very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

Lovely bright rooms, tall ceilings and a fabulous rear garden which was ideal for us to sit out in the evenings. The house is also situated really close to all the amenities and facilities which was a real plus point for us. We will definitely go back to the house.

Everything about this property was perfect.

Zoe contacted me prior to arrival with some details and a welcome message. The location couldn't be better as you are at the shops or beach within 5 minutes. Parking for 2 cars is an added bonus. Everything in the house was spotless and essentials provided including washing up liquid etc which I have always had to provide myself in the past. The fact that there are 2 toilets, both separate to the bathroom worked great for us. We were with my daughter, son in law and toddler grandson. My daughter is already planning on us returning in two years time. Thank you Zoe for a fantastic house.

A very nice big house situated near to shops,beach,harbour and restaurants. Lovely big rooms excellent kitchen and a great garden which the kids loved. The house was spotless with two parking spaces out front. Would not hesitate staying there again if visiting Paignton, thanks Doug.

The owner was brilliant and answered all our questions quickly and we were really happy about the accommodation in general.

Wonderful stay.

The house was clean and comfortable, with a lovely space outside in the garden. Was great to leave the car parked up and walk to the seaside. Buses, trains and taxis in close proximity. Would be happy to stay again when we come to visit friends in the area. Thank you to our host for checking we were settled in.

What’s not to like … great house, nice furnishings, big bedrooms, functional kitchen, decent shower, separate toilets, off road parking, fantastic location - short walk to harbour, beach and town. Paignton was better than expected - very good restaurants, decent bars, sea views, friendly people. And a super base for south Devon, easy to get to Dartmouth, Brixham, two excellent national trusts etc.

Exactly as advertised, very spacious, clean, comfortable home, good communication with host.

Great tv, the shower is good and we appreciated the hand rail by the bath for safety. The double glazing works well to keep out unwanted noise, so it was quite peaceful even though its close to the train station. Great location, pubs and amenities close by, no big hills on the way! Good location for exploring South Devon by train or by car.

We had a really nice holiday in this lovely house.

Situated in a quiet road but right in the centre of Paignton so very handy for shops and the trains etc. This was our second visit and I'm sure we'll be back.

Attentive host who was easy to contact and on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would return again in a flash.

Amazing property in an amazing location.

Zoe really has made sure everything is thought of for our stay including a lovely welcome gift. Super clean property with plenty of space. Garden was lovely to sit in when the sun finally came out. Within 10 mins you can either be in the town centre or down by the Harbour. If we come back to Paignton I will definitely be checking to see if this property is available.

We had a fantastic stay in Paignton over half term.

The house was lovely - quiet, clean and the perfect location. The garden was a real bonus, too. The host’s communication before we arrived was excellent, and they made sure the cot and high chair were set up for us. I am sure we will come back to Paignton in the future, and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Amazing property with everything you need for your holiday.

The property owner contacted me regarding the key safe code etc, and I can say I couldn't have asked for anything better, the property is so well-equipped from the moment you step through the front door. The cleanliness of the property is outstanding. A five-minute walk to the seafront, shops and train station, and the wonderful restaurants you have to choose from. I would definitely book this property again, and I would recommend it to anyone. Outstanding.

Spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, 5 Stafford Road had everything we needed for a great holiday.

It was good to have off road parking and the location was excellent being only a short walk from the beach, town and all facilities. Three generations of us stayed here and all enjoyed relaxing in this lovely property. We felt welcomed by the owner and were assured that we could get in touch if we needed anything. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect base for exploring South Devon.

This is a lovely spacious house in a small cul-de-sac which has good parking and a sunny garden with plenty of seating.

We never heard any noise from the adjoining property. All the facilities (tv, oven, washing machine, dishwasher etc) seemed to be brand new and everything was spotless. We did contact the owner to ask if there was a clothes airer (no point using the dryer on a sunny day) and one was purchased and brought to us very quickly.
