    “We had a great time and had a comfortable stay.”

    Loved the games room ! We would spend a couple hour each evening playing pool and table tennis followed by a game of darts . Beautiful country side views to look out onto from the back garden we will definitely be back. Thank you to Cath and Rachenda. Best wishes Allan and Caroline.

Stable Cottage is a pleasant family retreat tucked within Ilfracombe, Devon, boasting a shared enclosed garden, dedicated parking, and access to a lively games barn for all‑weather enjoyment.

Once a farm stable, the cottage has been transformed into a bright, practical holiday space where families and friends can settle in and enjoy the pace of coastal living.

Entering the sitting room, you’re greeted by soft lighting, restful décor and the gentle glow of a wall‑mounted electric fire.

This is a welcoming space to ease into slow mornings or relaxed evenings, whether sinking into a book, watching a favourite film, or planning the next day’s outing.

The adjoining kitchen offers everything required for preparing breakfasts before the beach, picnic lunches, or simple evening meals, while the garden doors nearby encourage stepping outside to enjoy the fresh Devon air.

The bedrooms are set across the first floor, with the double room offering a basin for added ease, while the family room, with adult bunks and a single, provides a flexible arrangement for children, teens or mixed parties.

A ground‑floor shower room keeps sandy toes and walking boots well managed after adventures along the coast or nearby countryside.

One of the highlights of a stay here is the shared games room, equipped with table tennis, darts, table football and a pool table.
