“We had such a lovely stay at Yealm for our wedding anniversary.”

It was warm, cosy, private and peaceful with the most gorgeous view. The pod has been carefully thought out and we had everything we needed. Loved the little touches of local organic hand wash and shower gel. Thank you for a lovely stay Kim, we’ll be back x

About the location

KINGSBRIDGE

Salcombe 5 miles; Bantham 5 miles; Dartmouth 12 miles; Totnes 13 miles; Plymouth 20 miles.

Home to meandering lanes and thatched cottages, the characterful village of Holbeton is an ideal holiday destination any time of year. With a shop/Post Office and a pub, the village has a real sense of remoteness, with picture-perfect architecture completing the atmosphere. The church in the village dates back to the 14th century, with intricate stained glass, adding to the delicate feel of the Devonian community, yet juxtaposing grandeur with its imposing steeple. Within reach is the River Erme, while the sandy beach at Mothecombe is slightly further afield and makes a delightful seaside day out. A wealth of outdoor activities can be found in the area too, with the Dartmoor National Park nearby, as well as the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Note: Two adults and one child only please; the sofa bed is recommended for a child.
