The staff were so nice and helpful in everything we needed. It was the perfect break.- Mr Goldblatt, August 2019
“This was our fourth trip to Nethercott and we continue to be blown away by its charms.”
It is a very special place. Don’t expect luxury - this is a place for a large group of family or friends to get together and enjoy the magic of spending time together in beautiful surroundings. We were well looked after by both house and farm staff when needed. Most of the rooms are bunk rooms - they were extremely clean and had either en suite or dedicated bathrooms, but this is communal living! Many of the bathrooms have recently been updated, as has the kitchen. Absolutely wonderful week - can’t wait for our next visit!- Ms Rydings, April 2019
“Perfect venue for our 50th Birthday gathering.”
Adults and children alike loved the house and spent an extremely comfortable three nights. It is a great venue to get away from it all.- Mr Fane, December 2018
“Didn’t see any of the children till eating time Adults and children alike loved the house 3 nights was just not enough, everyone was sad to leave the house it was like leaving something behind.”
We all absolutely loved the stay and the animals loved us as well. The farm manager and house manager where really warm and welcoming and did everything they could to make the stay better but didn’t need to because it couldn’t get any better. Children and adults will remember this Christmas for years to come. As it really did set the standard all Christmas’s should be like. Peaceful warm and happy . What more can we say but Thanknyou.- Mr Somarajan, December 2018
“Great place for large gathering”
This is an ideal location for a large gathering of family or friends. Despite the fact that we stayed in the middle of winter (over Christmas), the house was warm and cosy with an abundance of radiators and a log fire in the living room. There is plenty of space for everybody to do their own thing as well as large communal rooms for shared meals, activities etc. The kitchen is well equipped and organised and the large industrial dishwasher a real bonus. The Aga is a little unpredictable but okay once you get used to it. The bathrooms are adequate but again designed for school parties so you have to get used to the way they function! Poor wifi! But you can live with that when you're on holiday! All in all a perfect place to relax and enjoy the company of friends and family.- JilldM, January 2017
