The property

Just paces from the sea and with spectacular panoramic sea views is Virginia Cottage.

This sweet, former fisherman's cottage is the perfect destination for a small group or family hoping to explore the south coast of Cornwall.

Inside you'll find comfortable furnishings and lots of traditional character.

The living room/diner boasts stunning views and a cosy woodburning stove, perfect for warming your toes after a day walking the cliff path.

Take in the ocean vista whilst enjoying a home-cooked meal prepared in the galley style kitchen.

On the first floor are two restful bedrooms; at the front, a restful king-size room where you can wake to the sights and sounds of the sea.

At the rear, a twin room overlooks the garden and has books and games for children.

Two bathrooms (one on the ground floor) mean that everyone has their own facilities.

At the rear of the property an enclosed lawned garden offers the opportunity to dine alfresco and enjoy a BBQ whilst the sun sets.

This peaceful cottage lies in the charming village of Portwrinkle, at the western end of Whitsand Bay.

Home to two sandy beaches and a small sheltered harbour it is a true Cornish gem.

Spend a day on the beach exploring the many rock pools or try your luck at riding the waves.

Nearby the pretty twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand offer plenty of quaint shops and opportunities for eating out beside the sea.

Plymouth is a short trip by ferry, here you'll find shops, bars, restaurants, museums, and lots of attractions.

With so much to see and do nearby, Virginia Cottage is a perfect Cornish getaway in a truly exceptional location.

About the location

Torpoint 5 miles.

Set in a bowl of hills at the head of a tidal creek that leads to the Hamoaze, opposite the great naval city of Plymouth, Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula, "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner". Bounded by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze and the sea, the area is deeply rural and designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of shops and pubs, while close by are the pretty coastal villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from which a ferry will take you to Plymouth. Along the southern edges of the peninsula are miles of beautiful walks with glorious views of Rame Head. Just a mile south of Millbrook lies Whitsand Bay with its miles of uncrowded sandy RNLI patrolled beach and dramatic cliffs. A superb base for discovering the wild side of Cornwall.

Note: unfortunately, due to allergies, the property cannot accept any dogs.
