The property

Hazelnut Lodge is a delightful single storey lodge, rurally located in Devon less than two miles from the village of Yeoford.

Set within the grounds of the owners' small holding with far reaching views of the countryside available from the private garden and balcony. Enter your home from home and enjoy a well-appointed kitchen and dining area with a balcony beyond where you can relax and enjoy your peaceful position and woodland outlook. The feature woodburner which sits between the kitchen and sitting areas provides a warm and cosy atmosphere and there is a TV for those who may wish to curl up and enjoy a film. The shower room is positioned next to the master bedroom which has a super-king bed which can be split to two single beds should it better suit your party.

One well-behaved dog is permitted but please be aware that the garden adjoins farmland so we ask that your pet is kept under close control.

Garden furniture is available for guests to enjoy dining outside during the summer months.

Rurally situated in the rolling Devon countryside, this holiday home makes the perfect escape.

The Dartmoor National Park is only six miles away so this is a perfect base for those who wish to explore this beautiful part of Devon.

The village of Yeoford is only 1.5 miles away with it's award winning pub The Duck.

The vibrant town of Crediton is also a short drive away, where you can find plenty of independent shops, pubs, and eateries, including Mole Avon Country Store, The Three Little Pigs, Coco's Bakery, Ashton’s Coffee Lounge, and the Trawler's Catch takeaway.

There are also a number of National Trust properties in the area, most notably Castle Drogo and Arlington Court.

The RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal Factory are also worth a visit - both these attractions are situated at Great Torrington.
