“The surrounding area where the cottage were situated was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful and relaxing but inside the cottage let it down so much so I would not return or recommend to anyone unless the standard of cleaning were improved.
Inside the cottage was full of dust and cobwebs which had been there for quite some time , the facilities were very poor e.g. the microwave were rusty inside and around the door, the washing machine had thick black sludge liķe substance around the rubber seal of the door, the oven needed a good clean, the utensils were dirty with dried on food, the tea, coffee and sugar canisters were covered in dust, inside the fridge had not been cleaned and we basically had to wash and clean things before we could use them.
In the bedrooms again covered in dust and behind the bed and the side cabinets it was thick with dead spiders in cobwebs (being asthmatic this was not good) however the bed were very comfortable.
The toilet area in both bedrooms were dirty especially the floor around the toilet.
I was also a little disgruntled after 4 days into our holiday we arrived back to find the owner had been in and left a message saying she did not realise we were there for 2 weeks and did we want the beds changing and clean towels , we paid over £1000 for a 2 week holiday which included bed linen and towels so I don't understand why she had to go into the property to leave that message I expected them to be changed after 1 week and she could have texted me instead of going into what was our accommodation for 2 weeks in which we had paid a substantial amount as it was self catering, she also had arranged for an electrician to go in on the first Saturday to PAT test the appliances because she herself were going on holiday the Thursday after, never have I stayed anywhere with people coming in and out of what we were calling our home for 2 weeks.
I got the feel that they do as little as they can get away with and this property needs a good clean up and all the decor needs a refresh.
I have photos to support my comments.”

“Cottage was very comfortable and in a lovely position and we very much enjoyed our stay.
Access drive was a cart track best suited to large, robust vehicles but not so good for a Smart car! Bathrooms were extremely compact with probably the smallest wash basins known to man and a glass shelf above making wet shaving a challenge!!!!”

“Need for clearer instructions about recycling of packaging, paper, cardboard, etc. Suggest new pans for cooking. The non-stick surfaces were well worn, which means the aluminium exposed surfaces can be a potential problem.”

“The location of the cottage was peaceful and private. Great walks for the dog. The owner was very friendly helpful but unobtrusive. We were given a great welcome . Flowers left with cookies and tea , coffee, sugar and milk left for use on arrival. The cottage was very clean, well equipt and nice furnishings. Good quality and taste. Well placed for visiting local beaches , towns etc. Info left in cottage for the cottage and tourist leaflets.we found it hard to leave and will definitely be staying there again.”
