A door from the lounge conceals the staircase leading upstairs where there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from resting beneath the eaves with sloping ceilings, offering a king-size, a single with a truckle bed which can be a twin, and a single, all boasting pretty décor and served by the bathroom.

Okehampton is 15 minutes away by car and has a wider selection of shops including Waitrose, Lidl and Boots, a cinema, a museum and Okehampton Castle.
From Okehampton Railway Station there are hourly services to Exeter.
Cycle hire is also available from the Outdoor Centre (with cafe) by the Station and other outdoor activities available including canoeing, rock climbing, horse riding and golf.
The National Trust's Castle Drogo is nearby with its medieval style property, large grounds and gardens.
There are delightful walks from there to Fingle Bridge and also to Chagford which has market town shops.
The walking from the cottage is superb with plenty of opportunities to see wild Dartmoor
ponies, birds, historic stone circles at Hound Tor and Belstone, stone rows at Cosdon, many tors and opportunities for wild swimming.
If you get bored with Dartmoor, the city of Exeter is only half an hour away by car and fast roads will take you to the south coast of Devon in an hour (Exmouth or Teignmouth) or the North Cornwall Coast at Bude (36 miles).
