What guests are saying
This house is amazing for families, it's a fabulous house with everything you need lots of space with a great garden and stunning views!
The games room is a bonus! Can't fault it
Duncombe more than lived up to our expectations - a lovely house with convenient layout, comfortable furniture, very well equipped kitchen, original features including beautifully tiled fireplaces and wonderful sea views from 3 bedrooms.
The games room was very popular -table tennis fans enjoyed the full-sized table, 3 piano players tried to rekindle their skills and the bookworms loved the extensive library. There was something for everyone in our group of 3 generations. Our only concern was the unsafe steps leading from the dining room to the garden - we placed wicker stools to mark where the setps narrowed in width - perhaps permanent tubs/ garden ornaments would do the trick.
Perfect for disabled guests!
! The snug converted into a downstairs bedroom with easy access to the downstairs wet room. There is another Six bedrooms and Four bathrooms upstairs we were truly spoiled for choice. I fell in love Duncombe the minute I walked in the door beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. You can feel this beautiful old house is truly loved by its owners who have carefully created a home from home the kitchen is stunning with everything you need during your stay. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect holiday we had so much space to share and make wonderful memories. The garden is beautiful sea views everything you could want.I didn’t want come home will definitely book again we didn’t want to leave.
