    “We enjoyed our stay at Duncombe.”

    It's a lovely spacious house which suited our multi-age family gathering very well. The games room was specially popular! There were a couple of issues with heating and hot water but these were promptly sorted out by the owners.

Duncombe is a delightful detached Victorian villa in the coastal town of Teignmouth, Devon.

This pet-friendly property boasts an open fire, ideal for nights in, a games room for hours of entertainment, partial ground-floor living and various amenities suited for those with limited mobility.

Level parking is available on a wheelchair-friendly surface in the private parking area, accessed via a sliding electric gate with a remote control gate fob.

The open-plan kitchen/diner is the heart of the home, where the designated chef can prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed around the dining table.

For those looking for some quiet time, the snug with a day bed offers a space to curl up with a good book.

This ground-floor snug also converts into a king-size bedroom with a mattress topper and has direct access to a wheelchair-accessible wet-room.

With six bedrooms to choose from, including a king-size with en-suite shower room and four twin zip/link bedrooms, there is ample space for everyone.

The two family bathrooms provide convenience for large groups, and the ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower ensures accessibility for all guests.

TEIGNMOUTH

Dartmoor National Park 12 miles; Torbay 13 miles; Exeter 15 miles.

The historic, seaside town of Teignmouth is situated in South Devon on the mouth of the Teign estuary and boasts a working harbour, sandy beach, Victorian pier, sailing club, diving centre and sea activity centre. The seaward side of the town is known as ‘the Den’ and has elegant Georgian buildings, a large public area with lawns, play areas, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a miniature lighthouse. On the opposite side of Teignmouth are fishing boats and beach huts, plus views of the village of Shaldon and the hills of Dartmoor can be seen. Teignmouth also hosts folk and jazz festivals each year, whilst both the town and Shaldon hold annual carnivals and water regattas. If you decide to venture further afield, there is plenty to see and do close to Teignmouth including; the stunning Dartmoor National Park, the city of Exeter, plus the nearby harbour towns are well worth exploring.
