Sea Point

As previous guests have said this place is about the view.

It’s glorious, beds very comfy There are steep steps up not good for less able people and we had noted previous guests have suggested slip mat in bath. Took our own ,owner had not provided one. The towels are very small No welcome book or instructions re white goods and boiler , water was way too hot ! However it is a very nice place to be !

This is the second time we stayed at Sea Point: once in the heatwave of July '25 and now in the much colder / autumnal November '25.

This place is really all about the view. It must have one of the best views in Exmouth. You have open sea views to the horizon looking to the left, and the estuary to the right. To the centre is the sandspit from Dawlish Warren. It's really much more interesting than solely a sea view. All river traffic (taxi boats, the Stuart Line Cruises boats, RIBs and sailing boats from the marina and estuary) all have to pass by your balcony, so there's always something to see. Add to that the excellent views of the big skies and 3m plus tides, and there's always plenty to capture your interest. If all you want to do is enjoy the view and read a book, it's no hardship here! The accommodation itself is comfortable, and was warm enough during our November stay. The beds and sofa are comfy and the room layout is good. It's just a 10 minute walk to the town centre or train station, and you're right on the far western end of Exmouth beach, so beautiful walks are at your doorstep. Also the Stuart Line cruises start from the marina next door, so unless you need to get beyond Exmouth, you won't be forced to constantly use the car to get anywhere. Indeed if you want to day in Exeter, the train to Central station is very much recommended to avoid the traffic and parking costs. Just bear in mind that the apartment is on the second floor, so you need to be reasonably fit to make it up the two flights of stairs with all your luggage for the stay, but once there, it's perfectly situated. I do recommend the Bumble and Bee cafe in Manor Gardens, just a 10 minute walk away. Comes recommended, and we would happily stay again in future.

It’s a lovely holiday apartment.

Very easy to live and feel comfortable in. Bed linen and towels etc good quality. More than enough storage space. Plenty of seating. Kitchen area perfectly equipped and designed. The heating was set at a generous level. Thank you also for the treats. More than generous The view is amazing, if you ignore the garage roofs in between! I loved watching the activity on the pier head even in November there was always something going on. Ideal location, 15 minute walk to town, where there is plenty to look around. Lots of places to eat. I would have liked a slip mat for the shower and an information folder for the cooker/dishwasher/etc. I would definitely recommend and would be happy to return.

Perfect for the sort of break we were looking for.

A very comfortable, beautifully designed apartment with a personal touch. A wonderful view from the lounge windows if you love watching the sea and sunsets! Very well stocked kitchen. We'll definitely be back.

GREAT VIEWS GOOD LOCATION EXMOUTH IS A OK RESORT

A top quality property,one of the best we have stayed in.

Everything you need,comfy and cosy for a good holiday.Near to shops,food outlets and great views from the lounge across the estuary,would thoroughly recommend.

The flat is situated in a spectacular position with large sliding glass doors opening onto a small balcony overlooking the estuary and sea.

It was well equipped and suited our needs perfectly.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at Sea Point.

Really outstanding views with lots of activity on the river to see with ever changing tides changing the seascape. The kitchen/lounge/diner was very comfortable and welcoming. We were there during a heatwave and managed to keep reasonably comfortable as there are opening roof lights in the front room and bathroom which helps ventilation, along with the sliding glass doors onto the balcony. The bedroom windows have a small opening gap however. It’s worth bearing in mind that the bedrooms back onto the access road to the marina, which includes a pub opposite, so there may be a little noise during weekend evenings. It’s also located on the second floor, so it’s not really suitable for people with mobility issues. A single parking space is available in front of a designated garage in a block on the quay in front of the apartment. It’s not a long walk to the town centre or train station, and you’re right next to the marina where Stuart Line cruises offer daily boat trips along the coast or up river. The instructions for waste disposal and laundry could really do with updating (as they seem to relate to an different property) and you’ll need to look inside the front cover of the guest book to find the WiFi password. The property could really do with a up-to-date welcome file where all the information you might need is in one place, and is up-to-date, like most properties provide. However we really enjoyed being in such a prime location with some of the best views available in Exmouth, and would happily come again.

Excellent location and good contact with owner

This is a really lovely flat.

Everything is good quality, from kitchen equipment to superior bedding. It makes a difference to have nice things.

We had a fantastic week in Exmouth at Sea Point.

The apartment is fantastically situated near some great places to eat and drink, or take a nice boat trip or just a stroll along the Esplanade. There’s everything in the apartment that you could possibly need - the beds were extremely comfortable and the living room is spacious and bright with a great sea view. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again!

A lovely, relaxing stay in a clean and comfortable apartment.

Everything was as described, very comfortable and the views are fantastic even if it’s too wet to go out there’s always something happening.

We only ate on the sea front as all the places had varying menu’s, a wide choice of food and drink and we didn’t have a bad meal. Very surprised how quiet it was at night bearing in mind the location. The shower is a bit tricky but you soon get the hang of it. Will definitely come back.

Such a lovely apartment, absolutely perfect for what we wanted.

Well loved and cared for with everything we could need. Tina was so welcoming, kind and helpful, even with a situation that was outwith her control. Wonderful views, multiple amenities on the doorstep - we can't wait to come back. Thank you for making our very much-needed break so lovely :o) xx

It was so comfortably furnished, the beds were lovely, and everything we could need was there.

The views are incredible, with a balcony to take full advantage of them and the lovely weather that we had. A really lovely stay.

This was our second visit to Seapoint and it did not disappoint everything was perfect, even the weather behaved allowing us to enjoy the promenade walks.

We met the owner Tina on our last day, a lovely lady who obviously takes great care and pride in the presentation of her apartment. Sykes holiday cottages are lucky to have her.

The apartment is in a superb location, handy for the town centre, but an ideal spot for the beach, with amazing views over the estuary.

The apartment is clean, bright and modern, well equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay there.

The flat was very nice, clean and comfortable and the welcome pack was really generous.

Sea Point exceeded our expectations so much so we have already booked to return in March and are already counting the days down.

We had a lovely week in Exmouth, this is the second time that we have stayed at Sea Point and it was every bit as great as it was for us last year.

The flat is located at the very end of the Esplanade and just a two-minute walk from the very nice Rockfish restaurant, with fantastic views across the River Exe and is very comfortable and well-appointed with everything we wanted for our stay. The town centre is about a ten-minute walk away and there are some great places to eat there, as well as being a short drive away from Topsham, where one of our favourite restaurants, The Galley, is located. I hope to come back again and highly recommend Sea Point.

Fabulous views

We were delighted with the flat, it was very comfortable and the view was amazing.

The location was very convenient being on the pier and also not too far from the town centre. The fish shop opposite was fantastic and there were several good places to eat nearby. We went on several boat trips from the pier all of which we enjoyed.

A beautifully presented flat facing out to sea; we were very comfortable and nicely positioned for walking to beach shops and train.

Impressive remote powered lifting rooflight to vent the bathroom and kitchen area. Glad we took a small car as the private parking could be tight for a range rover!

The property was perfect.

Much better than the photos. Absolutely everything we needed was provided and we are keen to stay again. Contact with the owner for key collection was great. Spotlessly clean and so stylish inside. An absolute gem of a holiday.

The apartment is lovely, light and airy.

The kitchen was amazingly equipped with everything you could want - home from home feeling! The views are fantastic and change every day with the weather….. The only nit picking negative I have - the windows were dirty inside and out which would spoil the view. But I spent 10 minutes with soapy water and a squeegee on the first day and had sparkling windows!! The welcome treats and flowers were a lovely touch, especially when your not expecting them. Thank you Tina!!

Sea Point is wonderful apartment which exceeded our expectations.

We were greeted with welcoming gifts from the very friendly owner. The view is excellent and a constant source of entertainment. The apartment was extremely clean, and very comfortable. It is well equipped, has all the appliances you would expect, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful apartment finished to a very high speck, with the host Tina a lovely lady to deal with.

The proximity off bars cafe`s and local walks was a real plus.

I thought this place was idyllic.

I went for rest and recuperation and it was perfect ! The views were so relaxing and gorgeous.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea point, the apartment was very well equipped - literally everything we needed was there.

And the view was just outstanding, waking up and seeing the sea and the changing landscape outside was amazing. Our two girls (3 and 6) really enjoyed it. The location is great for kids as it's so close to the main beach and 'pirate's cove' just around the corner. We were lucky enough to meet Tina on the day we arrived and we really admired her artwork that is hung in the apartment.

Sea Point was a fantastic place to stay.

Centrally located with amazing views. Can get a bit noisy in the mornings with the cafe underneath and early marina goers but not a problem for us. We will definitely come again.

We highly recommend the beautiful stylish apartment Sea Point in Exmouth which is in a brilliant location, close to all amenities.

We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching all the busy activity in the estuary and marina of boats, cruise trips, kite surfers etc. This was our first ever visit to Exmouth and we absolutely loved the area, plenty of things for old and young to do and fantastic facilities for families including nice sandy beaches. Will definitely rebook Sea Point

We liked being able to see the car was secure in the little car park for the flats. Brilliantly place.

This light, bright apartment was perfect for us: lovely views over the estuary for watching boats coming and going; a large M&S food hall in town; a well-stocked fishmonger across the road; an exceptional seafood restaurant a 1 minute walk away - what more could we ask for?

Very happy with our accommodation at Shelley Court, very clean and plenty of room and the facilities were excellent.

The flat is within walking distance of town and beach and the view from the window was out of this world, we absolutely loved our stay there and would highly recommend it and would love to go again.

Beautiful apartment with amazing views

This is a fantstic holiday home, Tina the owner went to great lengths to make it as clean and safe as possible and thought of everything.

Gorgeous view and a great area for watersports and relaxing on the beach, lovely to walk along the front or get a boat trip just a stone throw away. Flat itself is beautifully presented but fairly compact for a family of four. Parking is a bit tricky as the Edge Watersports shop below like to spread out their equipment and often need to be asked if they can move their van, paddleboards, kayaks etc so you can park but they were ever so friendly and helpful and are moving to bigger premises next summer. The cafe below is fab for breakfasts and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend hiring kayaks and paddleboards from Edge Watersports as we all really enjoyed it as well as a bit of sea fishing!

Sea Point has the best view in East Devon - panoramic over the sea and estuary - always something to look at.

Tina has made a really lovely job at making the apartment feel cosy, immaculately clean, but also beachy. Really well equipped all new appliances, lovely colour scheme. Exmouth has loads to offer, water sports, beach, bike trails, walking, and within near reach the picturesque villages of Lympstone, Topsham, and town like Sidmouth. I highly recommend it.
