It is a lovely apartment but the shower room (couldn’t shut the door behind me) and the parking space are too small for a wheelchair user.

There is a railway line right behind the property but it isn’t that noisy when you’re inside.

A nice clean modern apartment comfortable beds.

This is the second time we have stayed at Sunnydeane, ots a very well set out place with all you need for a nice break.

It has two very very comfortable double beds.and towels and linen are all supplied it has a hot tub at the side of the property as well. It's nice and handy for the town and the sea front only a short walk away. We will definitely book for next year.

Clean, well equipped and comfortable property.

Great for 2 people but 4 adults might be a bit squished, especially in the lounge area. Location excellent, short walk to seafront in one direction and a Sainsbury’s Local plus main bus routes to Brixham, Torquay, Babbacombe up the road in the other direction. Noise from trains might be a bit of a problem for some but didn’t affect our sleep. Overall we had a good weeks holiday.

I found Sunnydene an absolutely great place to stay.

Everything you need for a great self catering holiday. A really lovely place to spend a holiday. It’s close to Paignton and the train and bus station plus off road parking for you car. It’s ideal for disabled as it’s all on the flat with a walk in shower. Just need to put a stool or garden chair in.. will definitely book again.

It was a nice place, and close to sea sea, the hot thb was very private people on yhe street could see us.

The weather was great, the property is as great as it was last year when we came and booked already for 2025. There is everything you will need to either eat in which we did or enjoy the facilities & then eat out. The off road parking is a fab addition. Enjoyed the hum of the trains that trundle past but we love this. Can't recomment this place enough.

An amazing property with all the amenities that make it home.

Clean and comfortable and the hot tub just makes it a little more relaxing. Easy Walking distance to the beach and pier. Some lovely pubs and eating places again an easy walk away.

Had a lovely stay at sunnydene close to sea front and shops would definitely stay here again if we came to Paignton.

A lovely place to stay with everything you need to have a relaxing break.

Only a short distance to the beach and Pier. Also you can cut through the local park to the shops. We didn't find a teapot to make up a flask so that might be useful in future. We loved hearing the hum of the trains going past and woul quite happily stay here again. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect location, just a short and flat 5 minute walk to the beach and pier. Amazing that we had a private parking space especially as we took our baby so it was lovely to have an enclosed garden and to be all on one level. Felt very safe and easy to navigate to all local areas. Hot tub was not working sadly, but the host had attempted maintenance and the communication from Sykes was great. Very modern apartment, comfortable furniture and lovely shower. We can’t wait to come back!

The only thing I would change is the seating when watching TV as the is only enough space for 3 adults when the accommodation is for 4 adults otherwise extremely nice and would go back again.

Good location for seafront, train, buses, local supermarket, town. Parking on-site. It was great for us.

The accommodation was very comfortable and modern.

Directions wrre very clear. Parking was great and directly outside so there was easy access. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, as was the reclining sofa. Paignton pier is only a 5 minute walk away, which was ideal for a nice stroll along the seafront. The kitchen is absolutely gorgous, but the island dominates the Tv/seating area so you have to monuveove around it. The sofa it would've been better had it been an L-shape to fit more people on when its let out to more than 2 people. It was good for us though and we enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of negatives... We were surprised by the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. There were hairs on the shower floor and on the toilet seat, plus dirt around the edge on the floor outside of the shower. I shouldn't have had to clean it before using. Plus, the hot tub had a scum ring around the edge before we had even used it! The hot tub is over looked by next doors upstairs windows and houses across the road, so I felt a bit on show. An oven glove in the kitchen would be handy for those like myself who like to cook most days. Apart from that we enjoyed our 7 nights and had a peaceful & enjoyable time.

Stayed here same week last year everything was very good.

.unfortunately this year apartment wasn't as we expected regarding cleanliness. there were areas which was dusty the microwave and cooker front were full of handmarks (not cleaned) .the bathroom floor and lower levels were dirty. Therefore we were not totally satisfied with the accommodation

You have a lovely apartment, very clean and well equipped.

The hot tub was a bonus after exploring Devon, plus the robes were a nice touch. The apartment is in a quiet road close to the beach and amenities. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great property and great location.

There was everything we wanted or needed of the property and a hot tub too and robes to wear when you got out. Bonus of the off road parking but if you had two cars, parking would not be an issue in the road either.

A beautiful place but I'm sorry it wasn't clean in places especially the bedrooms there was alot of dust and fluff about it needed a proper deep clean

Great place.

Location 5 minutes from beach, shops and pier. Convenient for train to other resorts. Apartment was clean and very well equipped. Hot tub was great and sky tv welcomed on rainy days. Parking space was a bonus. Could have done with extra information on arrival as there are 3 properties on the road with No.1 on the gate and didn’t immediately see it. Overall great place to stay, Excellent!

We had a lovely comfortable stay.

Everything we needed there and more to make our stay feel like a home from home. Extremely close to the beach and local shops which was great with a 5 year old. Fantastic accommodation.

Very well served with everything required for a stay. Love the state of the art kitchen with island. Only complaint please fix the loose toilet seat. Hot tub despite small was very adequate. Outside decor could do with a lick of paint. Will be returning next year.

Beautifully kept and wonderful utilities that are easy to use.

Lovely little place with all the modcons , comfortable and modern with everything you need for an enjoyable stay , me and my girlfriend just stayed a week and wanted to stay another week we loved it so much and so close to everything, 5 min walk to sea front nice little hot tub etc , comfortable beds , lovely shower , great induction hob and airfryer .

We loved it and had the best time even the rain didn’t spoil it for us . We hope to be back one day . All the best James and Laura x

Beautiful apartment and home from home.

Very Clean. Enough room for the 3 of us. 4 would be a push in the TV area. Beds were comfy. The dressing gowns provided was lovely. The gadgets were amazing. Sofa was so comfy. Location was great. About 7 min flat walk to the main part. Parking space was a godsend. Trains are close by although didn't wake us or bother us at all. Hot tub was a nice touch and enjoyed. Shower is amazing. Well decorated and everything you need for the week the sky box and large tv was a big bonus. All round nice apartment. We have already recommended it to others would are looking to book for 2023 and we would like to stay here again if we can. Thanks for a lovely stay! Things that could do with improvement: - Toilet seat needs attention as moves slightly. - We couldn't work out how to switch heating down. Was a touch warm at times. - could benefit from an ashtray outside. (Personal preference though!)

The owners have thought of everything to make this a home from home! Clean, modern and very comfortable and location could not have been better! Everything is within walking distance, so no need to use the car!

Lovely place in good location, close to beach and amenities, good bus links to neighbouring towns such as Torquay and Brixham, if you don't want to use your car.

Also the steam train and river cruise is a good day out.The apartment is modern, clean, beds very comfortable, off street parking a bonus, so is the hot tub, enjoyed our stay very much, the weather was great, would definitely go back again.

A lovely place to stay with a high quality finish throughout.

Ideally located in a quiet area near to the seafront and not too far from the main shopping area. Some people have mentioned the fact that there is a train line close behind the property and while we did hear them, they weren't that loud and never bothered us. Very comfortable beds with a TV in both bedrooms and plenty of wardrobe/drawer space, a nice shower room with an extra large shower which is powerful with plenty of hot water, a quality kitchen with high end appliances, and a comfortable lounge area. We think perhaps the extra large kitchen maybe should have been a bit smaller to allow a slightly larger TV area but as there were only two of us staying this was never a problem. A strong WiFi signal and the inclusion of Sky TV plus Netflix is a real bonus! Also an Xbox which can be used as a dvd player. Good off street parking to the front of the property. The hot tub, which we didn't use, seems to be a bit of an afterthought and is squeezed into a small corner next to the property and tight against the boundary wall. Personally we felt that it didn't add anything to the property and it may have been better to not be there therefore allowing the pricing to be lowered a touch. That said, judging by the visitors book, other people had used it - so probably just our personal view on it. Overall a very nice place to stay and we would definitely consider it if we come back to Paignton again.

On arrival we were very impressed with the accommodation and very pleased with the facilities available.

We had a great holiday and the outside space made evenings very pleasant. All was very modern and everything you could wish for was there, including the seafront just a short walk. Parking space was a bonus.

Stylish and very clean! It is so well located with only a few minutes walk to the beach or many bars/restaurants. It has a lovely hot tub that my family regularly used!

he apartment was high end with all the mid cons and gadgets.

The beds were very comfortable. However being woken up every morning by the trains was not the best. We feel the listing should advise there is a fully working train line directly next to the property., There were very little instructions for the gadgets and oven, hob, microwave and washing machine, we feel there could have been more details on how to operate these. When we arrived we could tell the apartment had been cleaned however there were clumps of fluff and dusts on the floors in the bedrooms and bathroom.,also there were sweet wrappers on the floor at the side of the bed. Were were not given any fresh bedding for our second week, We tried the hot tub however it was set on 42 degrees it was far too hot being as the outdoor temperature was miss 20s, it made us feel sick when we asked the owners about this they said they were aware of it but did not do anything to rectify this. We even asked the person who came to check it each day he said they are aware of it., We were told that rubbish day was a Friday, we never got our dustbin emptied on the Friday. We could see there were recycling outside other properties but we were not told we had any. Overall we had a good holiday and the apartment was very nice, it’s close to the beach and the town centre. We feel that we overpaid for the property for the 2 weeks due to the above. Having all mod cons is one thing but the rest of the things need addressing before that price can be justified. I also let the owners know all of the above.,

This property has everything you could want on a holiday.

Comfortable beds, excellent facilities, hot water, shower, cooking, very modern design. A nice area outside with a table, chairs, and sunshade so you can sit out, plus the hot tub. Also parking. A lot of thought has gone into this property, and I would highly recommend it. Pleasure to meet the landlords too.

The property was ideal we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would fully recommend it and book again.

We understand the property is a new let and therefore appears to have few teething issues. The accommodation information pack needs a lot more details added. As the accommodation is very high tech, more instructions on the use of the oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, lighting, and phone charging points etc. are required. Equipment supplied is adequate, however to utilise your holiday time by using the dishwasher, extra sets of plates, cups etc would help. Additional items required, would be oven gloves toilet roll holder (freestanding) and a toilet brush. The above issues did not spoil our enjoyment of the accommodation, but would help someone who was not technically minded.
