Reviews

    • “I would recommend this place to anyone, lovely annex, very spacious, clean and comfortable. The welcome basket that was left for us by the owners was amazing, it ment we could relax and have a nice cuppa before going shopping after a long journey. Even though the annex is joined on to the main house we didn't hear or see the owners unless we wanted to, which me and my husband prefer. The only down side to this property which me and my husband felt is the hot tub was not next to the annex it is a short walk down the drive, the owners do supply bathrobes which is very nice but it just ment we had to walk past the main house in bathrobes which we didn't feel comfortable in doing. But that's out preference.”

    • “Little Silver Nugget may only be two rooms and a kitchen but the rooms are large and spacious and very modern having been created for the owners personal use initially. It has all the facilities you would expect of a modern home. The owners are on site and very friendly and took an interest in ensuring that we had everything we needed for a good holiday. As a result we had a very good holiday.”

    Mr Gibson, Glasgow, September 2018

    • “This is a lovely property which is appointed really well. The views are stunning and the hot tub is a lovely place to relax in. The hosts were lovely, friendly people. There were one or two minor issues and what bothered us may not bother other people. The hot tub is a short walk away from the property which allows for the best views. For us however this felt exposing. We had to walk in dressing gowns in front of the adjacent properties and when we stayed this also included tradesmen working on the house. It just wasn’t private enough. This of course may not bother other people. I think it should be made a little clearer on the advert. The workman was also very busy repairing and making a lot of noise on our final day which didn’t make for a relaxing end to the holiday. The other small issue was similar in that the outside space offered had no privacy. In future for us an adjacent property just isn’t the right choice.”

    • “We had the most wonderful time at Little Silver Nugget. The pictures are amazing but in reality it’s even more amazing! It was the perfect cosy getaway with beautiful views and surroundings. We were treated to a wonderful welcome from Peter, including a hamper full of goodies and had everything we could need in the cottage and plenty of information for us to explore and make the most of our trip. Couldn’t recommend Little Silver Nugget enough - especially the hot tub and the views! And the chickens which came up to say hello! :)”

    Mr Sheppard, Folkestone, February 2018

    • “Little Silver Nugget is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We were so pleased that Cornish Cottage Holidays and the Proprietors facilitated our request to re-schedule our holiday, which we had to cancel in May, due to an acute family illness.”

    Mr Knight, Newport, September 2017

    • “Really nice spacious accommodation, amazing views from the hot tub area and front of the property. Well equipped with thoughtful welcome box on arrival.”

    Mrs Steel, Ferndown, July 2017
