Fabulous from start to finish - Communication from owners, easy check in, wow what a view and great apartment, everything you could need and within walking distance of shops, pubs and sea.

Parking at eatery places easy if you have difficulty walking, or need local Tesco for supplies. Also great idea to leave supermarket trolly by the lift to help with your luggage/shopping to your accommodation. I have nothing negative to say five stars we will definitely be back

Lovely apartment.

Clean , comfortable and well appointed with everything you might need. Plus point is mirrors near plug points for hairdrying, many places forget this. Wonderful views and some gorgeous sunsets. We never closed the patio curtains so as to enjoy every minute. Handy for Westwood Ho but the sea area near the apartment is very rocky so a 10 minute walk to the sandy beach. Altogether a wonderful place for a holiday and the owners are fantastic. First time i've ever been phoned by an owner prior to the holiday. Keep it up!

37 is excellent - clean, roomy, comfortable and everything is in good order. The property makes a good base for exploring N Devon, it is very quiet and offers great sea views from the balcony. Cannot fault anything. The two free ice-cream vouchers were a very nice touch!

As soon as you walked in the door there is a greeting welcoming you to the apartment.

It had everything you needed and a little bit more. The sofa and the armchairs are great to sit and watch the sea views from the living room. In over 12 years of renting holiday accommodation up and down the country, this has been the best place we have stayed in with its high quality furnishing.

Ample private parking. An ideal base for exploring North Devon. The owners made early friendly contact and were available to answer any queries. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous apartment is a glorious location.

Comfy beds, well equipped and updated now with a new sofa that is really comfy. You can park up and 2 minutes later be on a stunning beach.

Absolutely stunning apartment - everything was perfect - communication with owners and housekeeper superb - lots of little touches that mean a great deal - the views were amazing - everything has been thought through - so you settle in straight away - just a 10 minute walk into the centre of Westward Ho!

And a 5 minute walk to the promenade. We didn’t want to come after a great week at the apartment.

This was a return visit for us.

Sharlene who works with the owners was brilliant. We asked for an early check in and she kept in touch with us and notified us when we could go in. The apartment is well maintained and comfortable. Wonderful views of the sea from the sitting room. Shops including a fish and chip shop within walking distance. Great communication from the owners via phone and email. The instruction sheets sent over covers all you would need to know for your visit. Would not hesitate to recommend.

A beautiful modern apartment, ideally located and spotlessly clean.

The pre-holiday communication from the owner was perfect as was the stay. The owner has gone to great lengths to make the stay as pleasant as possible. We will be returning for sure.

Fabulous location, spotless, comfy beds, spacious

We all had a very good stay for our first time away in Westward Ho.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable with just the broken kitchen window causing quiet a lot of noise due to the winds blowing through it which at times was horrendous but it did not spoil out time there. The only other thing was that we felt the need to wash all the dishes as some were not very clean with residue food still stuck on many of them but this was something we didn't mind doing. Overall, the apartment was very enjoyable , clean and comfy and would return again and also recommend to anyone staying in Westward Ho.

Good sized bedrooms and comfy beds. The kitchen was well stocked with so many utensils/crockery/pans! A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Highly recommend.

Owners Tim & Denise were very nice & helpful, actually met Denise who was lovely and so welcoming. Also met the house keeper Sharlene who was lovely too. The property was comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay there. Lovely sea views, 2 min walk to the coastal path where there was lots of shops and eateries which was fabulous. Supermarkets al 10min drive away so very convenient. I would recommend this place and would definately stay here again. Only one issue which maybe wouldn't affect others is that we found it very uncomfortable sleeping on mattress toppers they were way too hot. We would have preferred just a mattress without toppers on. Everything else was great so thankyou Tim & Denise for a lovely stay at your property and Sharlene for the cleanliness of the property.

Ocean View, and each time we've had a great time. Apartment itself is very quiet, well maintained, very clean, and very comfortable. Loving the new recliner sofa. Beautiful views over the bay also. Easy location to travel to other resorts too. Would highly recommend.

This was our 3rd holiday at 37 Ocean Park and this property never fails to impress. We were so comfortable with everything provided that we could possibly wish for. Also available and extremely helpful is full information and details of all facilities in the apartment. It is also ideally situated for days out such as Lynton & Lynmouth, or down into Cornwall to Tintagel & Boscastle. Again many thanks to Tim & Denise for another lovely stay in their beautiful home and to Sharlene who keeps it so well managed and spotlessly clean.. We can't wait to return and hope to soon book again for next year.

Another wonderful holiday at 37 Ocean Park everything you could possibly need is there just home from home .

Accommodation is perfect, really comfortable beds and seating and very clean which can be a problem in holiday rentals and the views and sunsets are amazing !Thank you Denise and Tim you have definitely hit the jackpot !! The whole experience was excellent.

The owners contact you the week before your stay just to check if there are any questions .The flat was lovely and the rooms a good size. Everything very clean and tidy. Beds comfortable and bed linen good quality. The lift to the 4th floor seems to be well maintained. The sea views were fantastic.

Been going to Ocean Park since it was built, beautiful apartment equipped with everything you could ever need.

Quite close to the shops and beach. Trolley is very handy for the luggage. Apartment is spotless thanks to Charlene. An ideal base to explore North Devon or just relax and take in the stunning sea views, Tim and Denise have a little gem, already booked to return.

We had a really lovely and especially comfortable holiday at this beautiful apartment.

It was our second holiday here and we were lucky enough to be able to stay longer this time. We were extremely lucky with the weather with two glorious weeks of sun and beautiful sunsets. It is a real home from home with everything provided that we needed and more, and kept spotlessly clean by Sharlene. The property is ideally situated for touring North Devon and also Tintagel and Port Isaac, which are are within easy reach. A very big thank you to Tim & Denise for the lovely welcome basket, especially the Hockings vouchers, which we really appreciated. We hope we can soon book our next visit to 37 Ocean Park. We really can't wait to return again in the near future.

Very well equipped and comfortable and with stunning sea views and sunsets. Denise and Tim are a pleasure to deal with and Sharlene always leaves it spotless. Hopefully not too long until we return.

This is our “Happy Place” The views are sublime.

The proximity to a local bus service which has allowed to access the Tarka Trail at several points and enjoy some fantastic walks without the need to use the car created a very relaxing break. The beautiful weather ending each day with stunning sunsets was perfect. Local pubs and restaurants providing high standard food and service. Just 100%.

Had another wonderful holiday in this amazing apartment, weather was not very cooperative but the comfort more than made up for it.

The apartment is equipped with everything you could need and has lush sea views, been here many times and already booked to return.

This was our second stay at 37 Ocean Park and just as great as our first.

Once again pre-holiday arrangements were seamless, instructions comprehensive and accurate, the welcome genuine and warm. We particularly appreciated the fact that after our first stay we commented to the owners that the double bed mattress was rather tired and lumpy; we were assured this would be looked in to and this year the old mattress had been replaced with a new, very comfy one. Denise and Tim are wonderful hosts and the apartment is a real home from home..

Perfect home from home, Tim and Denise thought of everything to make our stay perfect.

Loved sitting on the sofa listening to the sea each morning and watching the sunsets in the evening, glorious views. Slept well in the comfy beds, ensuite shower was perfect. Short walk to the beach and facilities in Westward Ho! but far enough away to retain the peaceful views.

We had no complaints about the property at all.

It was all as expected and cleaned to a high standard. The only minor comment that I would make is that the hand towels in the bathrooms could have been a bit larger, but overall everything was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay and the wonderful views, watching the sunset over Lundy.

The property had everything you could need for your stay. The milk in the fridge and the welcome tray were nice touches, thank you. We gave a neutral mark for comfort as we found the beds in the twin room and the sofa in the lounge to be a bit uncomfortable. Although this maybe more to do with our age (60+), sofa a bit difficult for my wife to get out of. That being said, we would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a peaceful stay with great views. Thank you

Very comfortable and well-maintained apartment with splendid views over the bay (and the rabbits on the lawns below!

) with everything that one could possibly need. Excellent, and comprehensive, instructions received well in advance and very helpful and considerate communications from the owners and the housekeeper, both before and after our stay. We felt very well looked after.

Fabulous views. Comfortable. Well appointed. For those who self cater as we do the equipment is top quality. This is our third visit and we hope to return. We can’t praise this enough. Found a fabulous cafe in Appledore The Market Street Kitchen. Well worth a visit. New walks easily accessible found each time we’ve visited. The local bus service great fun.

home from home with great views

This is a lovely comfortable apartment in a very convenient location.

It is beautifully furnished and has fantastic views from the lounge and the second bedroom. Everything we could have possibly needed during our stay was provided for us, a real home from home and great to return to after a day's sightseeing. Of all the self-catering properties we have stayed in over many years, this has to easily be the best. Many thanks to the owners, Denise & Tim, for all their care and attention and being on hand should we have needed any help during our holiday. We definitely hope to return soon.

As always this apartment is very comfortable, warm and homely, and beautifully clean.

The welcome tray is very much appreciated after a long journey, together with the extra little treats from Tim and Denise! Not such nice weather this time, but we were able to sit and see the wonderful view of the sea and landscape in our warm cosy lounge. Very much enjoyed our break.

This was our second visit to this property, and we felt at home as soon as we walked in the door.

Particularly impressed by the extra measures taken for covid, which made us feel safe. We will hopefully return again in the future, it is a beautiful apartment.

We enjoyed very much our seafront walk and the walk to the village Appledore. A very nice short stay!

The apartment was spacious - plenty of room for four people to share without getting in each other's way.

It was also spotless and had that home from home feeling. Every potential cooking situation is considered and provided for (not that we did much). Our greatest surprise was just how brilliant a sea view we had - from almost every window in the apartment. It was such a treat for us to watch the waves from our comfy sofa and on bright days we also had a great view of the distant hills. The apartment's location is a bonus too - being an easy walk into town or to the promenade yet far enough away to avoid the potential noise of night time revellers. Being able to do a coastal walk from our front door was a massive treat for us. The owners also made a real difference to the holiday - they were welcoming and reassuring prior to the trip and communication was easy with them. We would highly recommend this apartment and we look forward to using it again.

Easy parking. Comfy beds. Free Wi-fi for the days you don’t want to just sit admiring the view from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach and a lovely pub. No noise from adjoining properties. The only tongue in cheek complaint is that the days spent at 37 Ocean Park speed by more quickly than the days waiting to go on holiday. Our second visit and hopefully not our last. X

From booking to leaving this has been the best holiday we’ve had.

The information provided by the owners was spot on. The directions and details of access were easy to follow. The flat itself was heaven. We arrived during hurricane Hannah and the views from the patio windows were priceless. We self cater so we can eat at “home” and the facilities and equipment were excellent with a sea view from the sink. The beds are so comfy. The bathrooms and fluffy towels perfect. This holiday was perfect. We would wholly recommend this flat to anyone. X

Apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay from soap to kitchen roll to hair dryer and a fully equipped kitchen, it’s like a home from home and is spotlessly clean. There’s a welcome tray on arrival and milk in the fridge, thank you Jill. Owners are very quick to communicate prior to our stay, even installing a brand new dishwasher the day before our holiday, which was very much appreciated. Trolley to transport the luggage is an added bonus. Apartment has stunning unspoilt sea views and is an ideal base for exploring North Devon, can’t wait to return to our favourite holiday destination.

Ideally situated - near to the shops, beach, local eateries - but enough back so as not to be disturbed by any late night noise. The owners provide clear and concise instructions on all manner of things related to the apartment, which makes for a relaxing stay. As regular self caterers, we cannot stress enough what a difference basic instructions on how to operate certain items, to which key opens what, can make to a holiday.The bookcases in the lounge are like miniature libraries with handy walking maps/guides on local walks and places of interest. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay.

Lovely spacious apartment with superb views out to sea.

Plenty of room for 4 adults. Hair dryers in both bedrooms, a real bonus. Lots of parking spaces available in the carpark every day, even in the middle of August. It is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Saying that, we ate out every evening and were impressed with the quality of eateries within very easy walking distance. Plenty of places to visit within a reasonable drive.

The apartment was well located with an exceptional view of the beach and sea.

The parking was easy and if required offered 2 spaces. It is close to shops and resteraunts. There are lots of lovely places to visit within an hour of driving. Westward Ho! Is a lovely place to visit and is suitable for all ages. I certainly recommend the apartment and Westward Ho! For a good relaxing holiday.

The front door could do with closer as it slams shut far to easily.

It's becoming a home from home!

The apartment was a real home from home.

Everything you need is there, everything you could want is there. The apartment is extremely elegant and I asked the seaside theme The only let down was the internet was not working for the whole period we were there. The seating is low for disabled users to use as is the toilet in the En-suite. The walk in shower was super. Extra things included such as books, dvds and games. Super value for money. Would love to book again

This was, I think, our tenth time in this flat, so we knew exactly what to expect, and we were not disappointed

Everything was done in a professional way , from the instructions to the welcome tray the views the cleanliness top marks and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Excellent property was very easy to book with friendly staff via the telephone, have visited there several times over the last few years more like a home than a holiday let very well equipped with everything you need and spotless WiFi a big bonus.

Very comfortable and quiet with stunning sea views and close to the sea and local shops an ideal base for exploring North Devon. Trolley to transport luggage via the lift extremely useful, was contacted by the owner several times prior to our holiday to ensure we had a good holiday even down to texting to inform us of the fire alarm testing. Will definitely be returning in the future it's our favourite holiday destination, must be as we've been so many times.

The owners make contact and ensure all your questions are answered prior to departure. The apartment was immaculate, tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, a well equipped kitchen, with a comprehensive shelf of information, maps booklets, local attractions, history and geology. Its in a prime position with great views and easy access to the town. It is secure and the whole building is well maintained. Westward Ho! is one of the friendliest towns we have ever visited and the local walks are so interesting. There are many excellent restaurants as well. Please congratulate the owners and we look forward to making a return trip soon, as do many of those who have been there before, looking a visitor book!
