The Lobster Pot

We love the lobster pot, it’s the only accommodation that fits perfectly for what we need.

Beautiful views , the lift for my elderly parents is key. They love coming here, and feel very relaxed and safe. We have been quite a few times now and will be back.

Really appreciated the spaciousness, incredible views and parking.

Situated at the livelier part of Westward Ho this first floor apartment has great views of the sea and coastline.

It has everything you could want for a comfortable short or long stay holiday. Also a lovely welcome pack. Would highly recommend.

Once again we stayed at the immaculate ,beautiful Apartment.

Its in the perfect place,opposite the Green and has amazing views. Its so spacious and well laid out the lift is a bonus,plus only 3 apartments use that lift and entrance. Perfect for the elderly . Its so close to all resturants,cafes and the sweets shop bonus is the ice cream van is right opposite you. Having stayed here 4 times in recent years it sure is worth coming back again. The apartment is just " Perfect in every way"

Wonderful apartment overlooking the shoreline.

Even though the weather wasn't that wonderful, we could still gaze out of the living area or kitchen at the waves crashing against the shore and the many surfers trying their luck. We will be back!

Everything was perfect ,better than the pictures.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable just perfect. The views were amazing. The lift was great for our 80 year old sister she loved it. The advantage of a parking space was great. We hope to return soon. We have never been to Westwood Ho it is so clean and tidy. Loved every minute of the holiday. Thank you for the lovely cream tea it went down a treat.

The Lobster Pot is an excellent apartment.

The owners have provided everything you could possibly need for your stay, and are always at the end of the phone should you have any questions. Situated right in the center of Westward Ho! you have everything within easy reach, along with brilliant views across the green and out to sea. Although the splendid Guillemot Bar and restaurant is almost literally down stairs, even on the busiest nights we weren’t disturbed in any way. Obviously everything seems better in the sunshine, which we were provided with every day, but we would be happy to return any time of year.

We have stayed in Lobster pot many many times now and it never disappoints.

We always look forward to going to our ‘happy place’. We just love everything about the apartment.

Lovely comfortable apartment with an excellent view of the sea.

We had a problem with the Tv in the twin room in that it couldn’t find a signal & also there seemed to be several curtain hooks missing or broken on lounge curtain! Offended my mothers OCD lol Also couldn’t lock the doors onto the deck after taking some pics from there.None of these things I thought important enough to complain about. All in all a lovely stay in a wonderful place. Thank you

Best Apartment in Westward Ho!

The view everyday was perfect for my 89 year old Mother in Law. Our 3rd visit to this apartment,will recommend 100%. Everything was in place,absolutely spotless,comfortable beds,and most important there is a lift for the wheelchair.. so if you just want to relax,this is the place for you.

This was a fabulous holiday the apartment made it with its wonderful views and local facilities.

It rained a lot of the time but just sitting in apartment was fine .A few hooks for coats would have been useful but it was good anyway mary

Having a toddler it would’ve been good to have a clothes airer as there was a washing machine we used quite a bit, drying clothes was difficult.

A really lovely property, well equiped and spotless with fantastic views of the bay.

The property was a fantastic setting for our family holiday.

It is in a wonderful location, and the property is very clean and homely. I've also never stayed anywhere with such a well-stocked kitchen either. And of course, the view over the beach and sea is stunning. Perfect for watching sunsets over the sea!

We first stayed at the Lobster Pot late May 23 and liked the apartment and location so much we stayed again Easter week 24, and will be planning to go again.

The apartment is high spec and very spacious, with very large window width offering fantastic relaxing views across Golden Bay.

We have stayed in Lobster Pot for the last few years now and it never disappoints.

Stunning views, always extremely clean and well equipped. We would highly recommend Lobster Pot. Also you have the beach on your doorstep and shops and restaurants. You never have to move the car.

We have stayed here before, and will again.

It is perfect for our needs. Love to sit and watch the sea. Even in January there are plenty of eateries and food shops open in easy walking distance and the bus stop is really close too with bus to Bideford, Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. A great place to stay.

No effort was spared to make this flat super comfortable, the sea and beach views and nearby walks were amazing too.

It was very well equipped, spotless and the hosts had thoughtfully provided welcome treats too. We shall be returning.

Best Apartment We Have Stayed In

The Lobster Pot was an immaculate and exceptionally well equipped apartment in a perfect location for walking distance to all facilities.

Westward Ho was a lovely place to stay & all the staff in shops, bars & restaurants were friendly & welcoming. We couldn't have chosen better.

A superb apartment, overlooking "the green" and the beach.

My husband, myself and my 98 year old Mother spent a fabulous week here. There are absolutely no negatives it must be one of the best holiday lets ever. Cleanliness, comfort, range and quality of equipment provided, and views are all second to none. We were even serenaded by a saxophonist playing on the green each evening. Sykes were very professional advising me that as a first floor property we would be reliant on the lift, this proved no problem, it is specifically designed for the less able guest and very reliable. Once inside the apartment it is extremally spacious wheelchairs or walking frames can easily be maneuvered. Thank you to both Sykes and the owners for a great holiday to remember.

Excellent location, great friendly surf equipment hire shop right next door.

Excellent Thai restaurant and brilliant chippy within walking distance. Lovely clean flat with top of the range equipment and fit out. Secure parking was so convenient. Faultless really and definitely the smartest holiday flat have ever stayed in. Highly recommended. We had a fantastic week there. Thank you !
