We had a great time from start to finish, a great friendly greeting from the owners and the property has everything you need from kitchen equipment to covers for the furniture for the dog. We had a wonderful stay.

The property was immaculate, well equipped & very homely! Definitely want to return as soon as we can. The hosts were wonderful too. Very friendly & accommodating. Nothing seemed a bother.

The old cowshed was a really fantastic holiday home, clean, comfortable and lots of extra touches, the attention to detail was excellent and the host Anna was lovely, we had some clear nights and as there is zero light pollution the view of the milky way was amazing, the only small negative for us was that our two elderly dogs who both have bad mobility but are very quiet and well behaved and sleep most of the time, we were told on arrival that they could not be left unattended in the property so as we were very lucky with the weather we couldn’t leave them in the car and this restricted where we could go, I think it should be clearly stated before booking that dogs should not be left in the property, we paid extra for our dogs and cleaned up after them thoroughly on departure and know they are not destructive, other than this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

This is a fabulous spacious property.

Well equipped and very clean. Beautiful views from the patio and very tranquil surroundings. Anna the owner lives on site , very helpful if need anything but not intrusive. It is very rural , but that adds to the beauty. Saw a mum & baby deer on the lane by the property one evening. A great pub called the Village Inn, at Ashwater 15 -20 mins away , excellent home cooked food at reasonable prices & very friendly staff. Would highly recommend this property.

Anna and her lovely family have been so helpful and the facilities are first class!! My husband has limited mobility and the equipment provided in the wet room was first class, in fact the property was very accessible ! Thankyou so much for the little extras you provided us with too. Loved sitting out on the patio looking across the fields to the moors, listening to the bird song and distant tractors hay making. A perfect chill out few days for us. Margaret and Ray Nicholls.

Absolutely lovely our 2nd time here,there is nothing you could want for in the accommodation.

The owner is absolutely lovely greeted us on arrival and made sure there was nothing we needed, left her number incase any problems fantastic and would highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful place just a lot of little lane to get there got a bit lost trying to get back after day out but all part of the hoilday adventure !
