“Melita is a very well equipped bungalow in beautiful countryside close to Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury so great for exploring and lovely country walks.”

Lots of games, puzzles and toys for children and treats for dogs. It is close by the busy main road so noisy early morning. A generous 'welcome pack' awaited us and a much needed cuppa was very gratefully received. The quirks of the bungalow is that there are too many pretty ornaments as this leaves less space for us to put things especially in the back bedroom where 8 items on the tallboy left no space for personal items. An empty wall shelving would definitely have helped. A smaller wardrobe might leave a few more inches to squeeze by the lovely wide comfy bed. All towels were exceptionally large clean and fluffy and hot water always 'on tap' but the hall toilet sounded like a ship's horn when flushed. Seating was not comfortable enough after a busy day and proper seat cushioning on the conservatory seats would help as sun lounger covers so uncomfortable and gave no support we couldn't use them. All this being said we have a lovely week together at Melita. Thank you Helen and Robert. -

We thank you for your comments and are glad you had a lovely week, but we were not aware that you were bringing dogs, if we had of known we would have put some beds out for them, and they even get their own welcome pack. The ornaments, well, we try and make it a home from home, but we can’t always please everyone. We are glad you liked the bed, unfortunately there is not much we can do about the gap between the wardrobe and the bed, without losing a bed side table, which we believe is a useful addition to any bedroom. We were not aware we had a ships horn in the hall toilet, thank you for letting us know, we have hopefully addressed that. But all in all you had a nice break from every day life, so thank you and hope to see you again, and if you do come again, please let us know you are bringing the furry ones, they would have had a nice bed to snuggle up in.
