So well equipped.

We loved the cottage, the facilities were very comfortable and it has everything we needed.

We definitely recommend and return!

Lovely bright and airy accommodation.

Everything is good quality and excellent standard all round. Cottage is just as expected from the photos and description on Sykes. Peaceful setting, quiet country lanes, and great views from the lounge. There is occasional distant sound from the railway, which didn’t impose on our holiday. We’d happily stay in Bumblebee cottage again.

The only word to describe the property is IMMACULATE.

From the cleanliness to the lightning every detail in the property listing was accurate. I personally found the beds to be too soft, but I have disabilities.

A beautiful little cottage that was well equipped.

It was immaculate. We enjoyed seeing the sheep from the window.

Good property, well equipped and clean.

Reason for low rating on comfort was due to the dinning chairs and settees which we found uncomfortable, this is more down to personal preference and anatomy as seat bases are too long and backs too short for us. Backs on dinning chairs were too upright and wire mesh not conducive to comfort. The temperature in the cottage was good and comfortable. The welcome pack was appreciated and enjoyed. Location was difficult to find due to Sykes only providing a post code (Useless due to not having sat nav or smart phone) Rang the owners who provided an easy to follow directions. Would recommend to others as a good place to stay.

It is a home from home for us.

From the moment we arrived until we left, we had a great time.

The property was well appointed and well equipped. The property looks good, and was recently modernised the few plaster cracks, as the work settled will be easily fixed, and doesn't detract from the high quality work carried out. The owners are available, friendly and very accommodating. We had a great week, but make sure you look at how to control the heating, as the property can get a bit warm.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bumblebee Cottage.

Myself, husband and my mum found the cottage extremely clean, beautifully decorated with everything and more you could want or need to make our stay a memorable one. The temperature of the cottage was perfect, beds lovely and comfy, the sofa area a nice relaxing spot in the evenings when we stayed in, the kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and the odd dinner when we couldn't be bothered to go out. We stayed as my mum wanted to visit family in Wellington and Taunton so it was in a perfect location and a nice rest bite for my mum who is recovering from surgery. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a perfect little bolt hole in the country

A warm and welcoming cottage, beautifully equipped and maintained.

Exactly what we needed for a brief stay at a wintry time of year! The only issue we had was with finding it in the dark when the route satnav was giving us was flooded and the road closed... If it had been possible to alert us ahead of that, it would have been useful. But we arrived safely and found everything perfect - thank you.

Our stay was for 4 nights.

Immediately on entering we could tell we were going to enjoy our time there. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Wardrobes more than adequate, with plenty of matching hangers. The bed was really comfy, the atmosphere was warm. The shower room ,all brand new and clean. Motion sensor lights in the hallway, much appreciated at night. Upstairs is the lounge,diner kitchen. Sofas were firm and comfy..kitchen more than adequately equipped, without clutter. We found everywhere a little too warm, but we are from the north so are used to being colder!! All in all a fabulous stay

There’s everything you need for a home from home stay here. It is spotlessly clean and very warm and inviting. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. Well placed for visiting south Somerset and north Devon.

Everything you need for a great stay. Thank you very much for the welcome basket. Much appreciated. Good area with many places to visit….Wellington monument, Canal walks. Museum , river walk and farm shops in and around Taunton. Will certainly hope to return in future.

This was our second visit to Bumblebee Cottage and won’t be our last.

Lovely location for visiting our sister-in-law in Taunton. Everything about the property is perfect for us, comfort, cleanliness and facilities. Even the knives for cooking were sharp. I often take my own vegetable knife when self catering but definitely don’t have to at Bumblebee Cottage.

We had a great week in this lovely , cosy and well equipped cottage .

It was very comfortable . A nice country pub about a mile and half away . Good food served there and Taunton about 20 minute drive . Would thoroughly recommend this property .

Cottage was spotless, and in a lovely quiet position. Absolutely nothing to fault, will hopefully return soon.

Fantastic stay.

So comfortable , spotlessly clean throughout everything that you would need in the kitchen. Beds very comfortable and clean . Perfect location for touring. We loved it so much ,we were able to stay an extra 2 nights . This is certainly one cottage we would come back again to and very highly recommended. A BIG THANK YOU

We loved our stay at Bumblebee Cottage.

David and Lynne were lovely. The property has been beautifully converted. It was well equipped and the welcome basket and flowers were a nice touch and much appreciated. The addition of a table tennis table was very welcome. The location gave us plenty of places to visit. We will definitely return when we visit Somerset again.

Fantastic place to stay for a quiet break in an out of the way location.

Shame there were no views of the countryside but the Sheep and new Lambs were great to see.

The property is as described it was very clean modern.

The Welcome pack and flowers were great. The property was very warm and good parking. The shower was fantastic lovely and hot.The television sometimes didn’t change channels very easier but perhaps the batteries need changing. The front door sometimes was quite hard to lock. These things didn’t spoil the holiday. The property is near the Devon border so close to M5 for going to places. I would vety recommend to anyone and would definitely stay if in the area again.

Immaculately clean, very comfortable and in a good location in the country but only a few miles from Wellington and Taunton. The EV charger was very welcome.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Bumblebee Cottage, it was a peaceful haven for us as sadly we were attending a funeral.

The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well equipped and of a high standard. The welcome basket was much appreciated, We enjoyed sitting outside as it was so peaceful and had fun playing the table tennis. We would definitely love to stay again, thank you.

Beautiful place to stay, I would strongly recommend

Perfect holiday cottage, easy access, friendly owner and close to places of interest.

The cottage is also well equipped and maintained and the two bedrooms with on-suite are extremely comfortable. Only minor item for us as elderly people are the benches and seats, it is not easy to sit in a upright position. Regarding the EV charge, which was easy and according normal charge, it is to be preferred to put the kw-price on the web to avoid surpices.

Appreciated the seamless check in and privacy. Your welcome items were also a lovely touch. Beds were comfy, place was v. clean and well appointed. Couple of suggestions: The automatic lights in the hallway were problematic for young kids sleeping. Maybe they are required for fire code or something, but both the clicking noise and bright lights were disruptive. Also, it would be great to have some hand soap in the bathrooms. Finally, we needed more than 4 sets of plates, bowls, etc - having only 4 was a bit limited. Thank you for a great stay!

The cottage and owners provide a very warm welcome for a perfect and very relaxing holiday experience.

The property is exceptionally comfortable. The location is close to Sustrans Route 3 so cyclists can explore the local area, including the historic aspects of the Great Western Canal system leading to Bridgewater or Tiverton. Walkers will enjoy good rambling in the fields and river banks accessible straight from the front door. Shops and interesting pubs are in easy reach. For those interested in trombones the nearby John Packer superstore is an Aladdin's Cave of delights.
