“There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to choose from and the overall cleanliness was good.”

And there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen to use. We had a problem with working out the hot water as it only came on at certain times. there was also strange noises in early hours of the morning between 3 and 5 like someone running up and down the stairs and a banging sound like someone banging on a wall which all seemed ghost like as it wasn’t us doing it . Also the cars going by from the near by road was a little loud. But none of this prevented us from having a great family weeks ...

About the location

COMPTON DUNDON

Street 3 miles; Somerton 3 miles; Glastonbury 6 miles; Wells 7 miles.

A rural village nestling at the head of the dreamy Somerset levels. Lush green meadows, meandering rivers, abundant wildlife all surrounded by steep and wooded hills; the countryside doesn’t come much better than this! Just 7 miles away, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor is famous for its pre-history, Ley lines and music festival. The majestic Wells Cathedral is also well worth a visit, and shopaholics are excellently catered for in Street. Further afield, the Regency City of Bath, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are all an easy drive away. Overall, an outstandingly beautiful and easily accessible area with much to do and see.
