    “The property is nice and the location is very relaxing.”

    However, it may need a little maintenance with the doors being quite stiff and hard to lock. There was also a lot of cobwebs and dog hairs but otherwise it was clean. The bed is uncomfy and left us both with sore backs. Owner is really nice and friendly, however, and fixed an issue we had with the cold water tap in the bathroom really swiftly. Directions to find the property could do with a line to make it clearer you need to go down a lane off Merridge Hill to get to the property.

    Thanks for the feedback. Agree work required on external door locks which I am arranging. The Barn is thoroughly cleaned including cobweb removal but we have very determined spiders here who return. The bed / mattress is fairly new. I have not had any other comments about it. Was the bed too soft / too hard? Will review the directions. Sat Nav usually comes straight there. Thanks for your comments. Property Owner

Spaxton is a quiet rural village 6 miles west of Bridgwater within the foothills of the Quantock Hills, an area designated for its outstanding natural beauty. This Somerset village, mentioned in the Domesday Book, has retained much of the original charm, including pretty character cottages, restored almshouses, a well-stocked community shop and a friendly pub serving local produce. The Quantock Hills countryside is one of the finest in the south, they provide ample opportunity for walks, riding and mountain biking and there are magnificent views from the heath covered hilltops. The Coleridge Way is a popular long distance path through the Quantocks towards the Somerset coast and the Quantock Greenway passes through Spaxton. Local attractions offer wonderful gardens, monuments and rural arts and crafts. The historic city of Wells is nearby as is Glastonbury, well-known for pop festivals and the King Arthur legend. A fabulous area of Somerset providing a variety of interest.
