“We had an amazing short getaway at The Barn.”
Being surrounded by nature, the lovely energy of the sheep and lambs, the little chicken coop, and plenty of squirrels was exactly what we needed. It’s the perfect spot for couples looking to recharge. The property itself has so much character, and staying on a farm added such a nice touch to our stay. We also made great use of the decent sound system and the big-screen TV for some cosy movie nights.
The host was fantastic, very welcoming, and always in touch. I was honestly shocked to see a 1-star review here. Regarding the logs, yes, you can get extra for £10, but the amount provided was huge, and the quality was far superior to the basic £4 bags you’d find at a supermarket. As for the cleanliness complaints I read, we didn't encounter any serious issues at all. If we visit the area again, The Barn will definitely be our go-to spot.
