Bath House

We recently stayed at The Bath House in Langport for a 4-night getaway with a party of 17 (8 adults and 9 children), and it was absolutely fantastic!

The accommodation itself had plenty of space to comfortably host our large group. The location truly couldn't be better—it puts you right in the heart of everything. During our trip, we made easy day trips out to Wookey Hole, Weymouth Beach, and Glastonbury, on top of exploring the local market towns and lovely boutique shops right on our doorstep. A special thank you to the owners, who were exceptionally informative, welcoming, and easily accessible throughout our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us—we had an amazing time and couldn’t recommend it more!

Wow, what an amazing place!

5 stars plus. Beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. The owners are very lovely people who provided lots of information before arrival and during our stay. Large bedrooms, big garden, lots of space. An absolute gem. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay!! The house is beautiful and the picturs definitely don't do it justice. They have everything you could think of needing. You don't need to take a thing other than yourselves. Thanks for a lovely stay. Will definitely be returning.

Beautifully clean, this characterful property was in excellent order and had plenty of room for our party.

Boasting powerful showers, in addition to baths, and good central heating the property had a well equipped kitchen and plenty of games etc to keep you entertained in the evening. Situated in s quiet area of Aller, in walking distance of a pub, it was also close to Langport which had a large supermarket and other amenities. The property boasted a large outdoor space with a patio and a lawned area as well as ample parking for four cars. Overall we had a fantastic long weekend in this property which was superb value for money. We will be back.

A lovely house with full equipment and marvellous instructions for everything.

A lot of thought has gone into the decoration, layout and helpful hints. We look forward to returning.

We recently stayed at bath house for NewYear and had a wonderful time.

We had a large family group of 12 with a dog and the house fitted us perfectly. All of the bedrooms are a good size and nicely finished, the kitchen is well equipped, the dining space is ideal for a big group and the living room with the big fire is lovely and comfy. We would certainly recommend

I was really impressed with how spacious all the rooms in the property were which allowed all members of our group to find their own space as and when needed.

The log fires in and out were a lovely addition and the whole property provided all the comfort needed. Our stay was lovely.

We have just visited Bath House for a 3 night stay to celebrate my Dad’s 80th birthday.

We are a family of 14 and the house was a great size for us. The property is beautifully decorated, probably the most tasteful and welcoming place I’ve ever stayed. I would highly recommend. The owner was in contact throughout our stay and very helpful. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there were so many thoughtful touches from cosy blankets to mini hot water bottles.

Definitely 5*-all of our parties first reaction was WOW - it’s a beautiful property, such attention to detail, quality furnishing, plenty of space whilst still being very homely.

Bath House was very comfortable, very spacious and very well equipped.

It's in an interesting part of the country with plenty of places to visit around, though for our walking party the locale is rather flat! The Old Pound Inn (almost next door) is most welcoming and a good down-to-earth pub. A stay here is to be recommended.

Great property and a high speck.

Beautiful house with all amenities and well thought of everything from indoors to outdoor facilities. Close to a local pub (1 min) and groceries available within a few minutes drive. The family loved it and provided us a great space for 16 of us to have precious time together.

...'wow'! The bath house was just perfect. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt completely at home. It's immaculate. By far, it's the best holiday let we have ever stayed in. It is in a beautiful location, and the house is completely stunning. The finishes, textures, and all the details have been carefully considered to achieve a high-end refinement and elegance. The arrangement of rooms, flow of space, and the attention to detail in the property are incredible. Francis was extremely helpful and made our stay memorable. Thank you.

Absolutely perfect in every way!

Fabulous host! Could not fault our stay at Bath House at all!! Maybe a few more tea towels in the kitchen.

The bath house was such a lovely place to stay, there was so much space in and outside the house which is great for whatever the weather.

Every room was so spacious and there were lovely touches throughout the house that made it warm and welcoming. Was an experience in itself to stay here, would definitely return.

We had an amazing time at bath house, we celebrated our parents 40th ruby anniversary the week before with a blessing, then came here for a big family holiday!

We brought all the outfits and took amazing photos with the house and gardens! The house is simply stunning! There’s everything you need, it’s so well thought out and absolutely spotless clean! Rooms are large and furniture and beds are very comfortable. The garden is beautiful, a large table so everyone can eat outside, lights and a fountain, a lovely summerhouse down the other end that gets the sun first thing in the morning so is ideal to eat your breakfast at! Grass in the middle which our dog loved running around on. All secure, even for the most troublesome dog! We had 6 adults, 1 teenager, and a large dog and there was plenty of room. Also lots of parking space we had 2 large and 1 medium cars parked at the side of the house on the driveway. The owners lived next door and were a pleasure to talk too, greeted us when we arrived, answered any messages quickly and were very friendly. The local pub, the old pound inn, is extremely dog friendly they are allowed inside, and the staff are very helpful and welcoming, the food is delicious and not over complicated! Just good normal food! All round an amazing house and lovely location. We will definitely be back in the future! Thank you!

A beautiful home that felt relaxing and comfortable immediately on arrival.

Tastefully furnished and presented. Owners were very attentive but not intrusive at all. We had our 3 children / partners & 8 grandchildren with us Everyone enjoyed our precious time together. We loved the courtyard/garden area.

House is beautifully decorated to a high standard, everyone in the group had a nice room! Outdoor space was lovely for socialising and owner was in touch throughout the weekend for any queries we had, really lovely children's play park 2 minute walk! :)

Nice and central to lots of Somerset and nearby Dorset, felt like home from home. Will definitely be back again!

Bath house is incredible.

The rooms are beautiful, it is spacious and perfect for large groups (we were four families), and we particularly enjoyed the gorgeous bathrooms and open fire. There was everything that we needed and the owners were so helpful and responsive. We highly recommend a stay at Bath House and plan to return ourselves!

Beautiful house very cosy and warm perfect for Christmas.

The house was decorated beautifully arrived to the lights on and carols playing perfect . Plenty of room love this house .

We had a lovely family stay at Bath House in mid December.

There was 12 of us in total and still plenty of room! The property was extremely well equipped. In the lead up to the break, the owner was in direct contact and offered support for any questions that needed answering which really gave the getaway a personal touch. We would thoroughly recommend this gorgeous property and look forward to going back in the near future.

An excellent party house with friends or the family.

The host put up a Christmas tree for us and left the decorations for the children to decorate which was a lovely touch.

We really enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped and comfortable house.

Very spacious and a lovely environment in which to relax. We were a party of eight adults and eight children; two of the children had the excitement of sleeping in the mezzanine beds (every small boys dream!). We would like to make return visit sometime. Beautiful surrounding area.

This is a really beautiful house very warm and cosy feel, plenty of room for 12 of us, my family said the photos didnt do it justice, was better then photos.

Everything was catered for. Beautiful large garden with plenty of seating, unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind, so therefore couldn’t use to its full. Would love to return in the summer and make use of the garden.

This is a lovely and well maintained property.

There was plenty of space for our family of 8 adults, 3 young children and 2 dogs. If the weather is good, there is some nice garden space to eat out or just relax. Great location for days out and small play park just a few minutes walk away.

Bath house is a beautiful house.

The rooms and garden areas provided plenty of space for our group if 17. Bedrooms are individually designed and very spacious and the kitchen has all you need. We had a really relaxing break and would thoroughly recommend Bath house to all.

The bath house was the perfect base for our holiday.

It was beautifully maintained and exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed for a large group! We really enjoyed the beautiful garden and were extremely grateful for the responsiveness of the owner of the property whenever we had questions, it is clear he takes great pride and joy in this beautiful property. Our 10th annual UK cycling holiday and Bath House was the best holiday home we have stayed in.

As mentioned by others, the furniture, fittings, space and comfort were outstanding. The garden was a delight, and the lockup garage was great for storing our 7 bikes. We cycled the many quiet lanes and visited fine country pubs and local cafes. Francis and Tiffany were helpful with the information provided before and during our holiday and gave some local cycling knowledge.

Bath house was absolutely beautiful.

It provided everything we could have needed and plenty more. The whole family had a fantastic time. Inside it's immaculately laid out, super comfortable and a joy to be in. The courtyard is a beautiful tranquil space with gentle birdsong and the distant lowing of cows. The rooms are all fantastic, spacious, well laid out, relaxing and very comfortable. Every detail is beautifully thought out, and offers modern convenience while still fitting perfectly in a country property of this age. We would definitely love to go back again another year!

From the minute you walk through the door your holiday experience will begin as it did for our whole family.

A beautiful property, full of character and charm. All credit to Francis and Tiffany who have enhanced the property to it's full potential. Their carefully chosen furniture, fittings and all the very thoughtful extras(of which there are too many to mention), will never fail to impress everyone that has the pleasure of staying here. Everything was of very good quality and thoughtfully designed. We only explored the immediate area, but we would recommend Enchanted Wood, Langport for river walks and coffee/cake shops/cafés, Beer Cider Farm, the local kids play park etc etc

Absolutely amazing property.

So many little touches here and there and 5* rating for comfort and style. Perfect communication from friendly hosts. We had a wonderful family get-together here and were extremely sorry to leave. We hope to be back one day.

There is only one word to describe Bath House and that is wonderful.

It was exactly what we needed to celebrate my sisters 30th and baby's 1st birthday. Not only is the house itself just perfect (they even have tiny little hot water bottles to keep you warm in the gorgeous walled garden and wellies to use on the circular walks!), but the area is beautiful and the walk along the river was lovely. There is everything you need to host a large group, we had nothing but amazing comments from everyone who stayed with us, with my dad saying he will be back for his 70th!! The bedrooms are well designed and the beds SO comfortable! Thank you for just thinking of everything and making our stay with you so laid back and all we could have wished for. Lauren x

This property is just outstanding.

Where to even begin. There is nothing that has not been thought of and is perfect for a family gathering near the countryside. The parking facilities are good, and even have an electric car charging point. The front garden is secure and is perfect if you bring four legged friends. Walk through the front door and it’s like stepping back in time as you’re greeted with a lavish dining table and huge fireplace to your left with a large living room and huge tv above yet another large fireplace perfect for winter warming after a long walk. The kitchen was superbly equipped, washing machines, plentiful plates, glasses, saucepans even a coffee machine! To top it all off there’s a drawer filled with beautiful small hot water bottles to warm your tootsies! The garden is absolutely stunning and will definitely be back one summer with the family! The bedrooms are lush. Beds are so comfortable you’ll never want to leave. The bathrooms are HUGE. Perfect when there’s a large group of you. There was games. And towels, and dog treats and bikes to take out and spare wellies if you left any behind. The place was just so beautiful. And so clean! I did not want to leave. The owners are also fantastic. They give you some local Information and some good local walks which we went on and the views were amazing. The pub is just down the road and does some amazing food! The owners communication was second to none. They were so lovely. We had a Lord of the rings theme weekend and left a Lego Legolas which they sent back with a Lord of the rings style letter as if he’d been on a quest. I could not recommend anywhere higher. It was just gorgeous. THIS IS A MUST STAY PLACE. Pefect for all ages and four legged friends!

Lovely property to stay in.

Centrally placed for days out. Not really more than an hour away from any great places to visit. We did Weymouth. Lyme Regis. Weston S Mare. Glastonbury and the Fleet Air Museum easily from here. Definitely recommended by my family.

We can highly recommend Bath House.

It is a beautiful house with great sized rooms - all beautiful presented with real attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable and it was very well equipped. The children especially enjoyed sleeping in the mezzanine loft space. We loved the courtyard garden but the weather unfortunately meant we couldn’t spend much time out there. They also enjoyed going to the park which is a short walk away. Definitely a great place to stay.

The house was perfect, all the furniture was capable in and the whole house just had the right homely vibe.

Our whole group can't wait to try and go back either later this year or springtime next year

It was a beautiful place with so much attention to detail.

They even lit candles to greet us upon arrival and put a little stuffed animal on the coffee table for my 5yo to find. Francis was a great communicator and helpful when we needed it. The place is stunning.

We had a lovely family weekend celebrating a big birthday.

This house was perfect, plenty of space for everyone and a beautiful outside space. Log fires, games and hot water bottles made it very cosy. On arrival there was a lovely Christmas tree, candles and carols playing which was a lovely touch. The local pub was about 2 minutes down the road. A great place and good communication from the owners, would definitely recommend.

The most beautiful, clean house we have stayed in.

Every little detail had been thought of and the host was amazing. When the first guests arrived there was candles and relaxing music on and this really set the scene for a wonderful couple of days! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

The house was amazing, we booked a pre Christmas family get together for a weekend break, there were 11 adults and 7 children of various ages, so the house had to be well equipped and spacious, which it was.

Each bedroom had different theme the kids loved it, there were so many nice touches everywhere and lovely log fires which we needed as it was a bit chilly the weekend we went. Frances the owner was very helpful, from the day we booked till the day we left, would definitely highly recommend this property, Susan

The weather was kind to us and as a group of 11 with 2 dogs we made full use of the house. It was the perfect size for our group. The hosts made sure we were happy & we really appreciated their checks & contact. Minor challenge with the fridge but otherwise perfect. We loved the dining area - perfect for our evening meals & games. Fabulous setting & easy to get to all the wonders of Somerset. Thank you

We had a lovely time at Bath House.

It’s very comfortable and Francis and Tiffiny we’re very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home, they even sourced a wheelchair for us to help with my mum and looked after our dog for a few hours while we went to a restaurant to celebrate a birthday (no dogs were allowed in) The garden and Al fresco dining areas are lovely. A BBQ would be a great addition to the property. We ended up buying one from Tesco to use whilst there but it was very small so took us a while to feed everyone. The house had lots of great features, with lots of different hanging out areas, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfy. All in all a really lovely stay and we would definitely recommend

Bath House is beautiful, very cosy, stylish and well equipped.

It has lots of interesting curios and lovely furnishings. The garden is fabulous , a great Italianate terrace for outdoor eating, a lawn for games, super purple and green plants and even a hidden little summer house. The area is fun with lots to do. We all loved it! The owners left a helpful advice folder with useful info about the area. For us Wells and Lyme Regis were fab and we found nice cafes and bakeries in Langport. A brilliant week!

We had a wonderful stay at Bath House with our extended families - everything was spick and span and we wanted for nothing.

The beds are so comfy and the outdoor dining area was stunning which we used for every meal as the weather was so nice. There was also a really comfortable lounging area in the garden which we used. We had the best time at Bath House.

From the moment we stepped into the house, scented candles flickering, soft music in the background. Every room was comfortable and clean. There were lots of little nooks where our grandchildren could have time on their own or together. The kitchen was very well equipped. Francis the host was helpful and sorted out a small issue very promptly. We would definitely recommend a visit. Special memories were made this week, priceless.

Excellent house for a large group.

Very comfortable with a lovely garden and set in beautiful countryside.

We were a large party of adults and children, and everybody enjoyed the cottage.

Communication with Francis was amazing and he didn't mind answering all of our many questions! The cottage was lovely and clean and very well laid out. The wellington boots and bikes were a lovely bonus. We would definitely recommend Bath House and would hope to return.

We had a fabulous family week at Bath House.

We can confirm it is very comfortable and we’ll equipped. Francis is a brilliant host and just makes everything easy for you. The location is great, easy to get to Street, Wells, Burnham etc and Langport is lovely where the fish and chips, Chinese and Thai were tested and enjoyed. The Old Pound pub is very friendly and our highlight was the Bere Cider farm just up the road. As soon as we walked in we were treated like locals. If Nom Nom pizza are there then you can’t go wrong. In summation I would highly recommend Bath House as a beautiful place to stay and relax. The garden and courtyard are an added bonus.

It is a lovely property, very nice for a lot of people staying.

The only thing I think would help as I would think a lot of families stay here. Is plastic beakers and some lighter plates for children.

We had a wonderful weekend family get together.

The house was overall well equipped and very welcoming. The garden was great and we found the locals in the village very friendly as well. A few minor points; although the tableware was very high quality we were surprised the cutlery was a bit school canteen. The oven glove was not adequate for lifting roasting tins out of the oven - I got a burn on my thumb as a result of this. When we were on our way home we had several messages from the owners first thanking us for leaving the place clean and tidy and then asking about a salad server which was apparently missing. we have no recollection of this being there. The messages eventually became quite accusatory and a bit upsetting. We rent holiday cottages a lot and have always prided ourselves on being careful and respectful of people’s property, we have always had good feed back on this. We have done this extended family get together in a large house for 6 years now with no problems. We did unfortunately break 3 wine glasses during the stay and we left a note about this and cash to cover replacement , more than the amount suggested in the notes which we feel demonstrates our honesty. Overall we loved the house and would recommend it to any large group of friends or family wanting to get together. We also found your booking process and property description very efficient.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Bath House.

Francis has thought of everything to make the house comfortable and welcoming. The beds, linen, towels, pillows - everything is top quality. He has even thought of lovely touches such as a hot water bottle for everyone in case it’s really cold. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and furnished. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery/cutlery/utensils. We found Francis really accommodating and he sent several messages in advance of our trip to ensure we had all the information we needed. This is the best large house we have ever stayed in.

The house was amazing, everything was to our needs, lovely garden very spacious and my grandkids loved it,I will definitely come back,best holiday so far.

We had a fabulous week.

The house was outstanding.It was large enough to still feel spacious despite there being 10 adults,6 children & a baby. The quality of the furnishings was excellent. With the exceptionally hot weather we really appreciated the on tap ice and cold water from the fridge. More shade and a larger outside table would have been appreciated. The garden was really useful and the courtyard area delightful.We always book with Sykes and this is the best place we have ever been to. There is lots to see and do in the local area but unusually it was too hot this year so y late afternoon we were back to the house.

We wanted to gather our family made of four young couples with two toddlers and two small babies (so all 14 of us).

They came from various parts of the country including one couple from overseas. Bath House was perfect for this occasion and met all our expectations. It provided the right number of bedrooms, all large, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. All the bedding was first class, the ground floor gave us the space we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and the large oak table became the centre of family life during dinner time. The back garden and patio are secluded and safe for small children. We made good use of the outdoor sitting arrangement, mostly wind-sheltered. We were also delighted to find a large village playground some 300m away, all on grass and well equipped for children of all ages, even grown-ups. Sheep and lambs were grazing at the back of the local church. The house is 200m away from the main road and very quiet. My wife and I enjoyed our walk along the Parrett river and the flat land made it easy for all. We used the local pub on Sunday as it was not busy. We also bought tasty goose, chicken and ducks’ eggs from a local house. If we can, we will return. We have certainly no hesitation in recommending it to friends. JP

Beautiful, peaceful location with everything you need in the house. Francis, the owner, was so welcoming and his communication was great.

A lovely break at a stunning property.

On arrival the property owner had put ice lollies on the freezer and an activity basket for the kids. The adults where left a gin basket in the potting shed. We all had a great time. We had an issue with one of the bedroom doors which was dealt with instantly by the owners couldn't of asked for more. Thankyou for memories and a family get together we will never forget

Bath House is amazing and was perfect for our family reunion to celebrate my birthday.

The house is beautifully decorated and everyone had the most enjoyable time. Fantastic Bedrooms and Bathrooms. Granddaughters enjoyed The Loft. The Courtyard and Garden were well enclosed and were great for Murphy the pup. Potting Shed a great space for a wine or tea. Great communciation with Francis. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Bath House is beautiful.

It’s decorated gorgeous and we absolutely loved our stay! The pub is super close, the park too for the children. Centrally located so we had some great days out. Thankyou for a fab stay!

We had an amazing stay at bath house, walking in to a roaring fire and my dads favourite cake!

A great way to start the break! The rooms were all beautifully laid out and the kids loved the mezzanine bedroom all together. There was everything you needed where you though it would be and the owners checked in when we had rather stormy weather Don’t forget to check out the potting shed - we missed it for the first couple of days and it was a lovely find in the garden We managed to forget some items and Francis was so kind to post them back quickly - much appreciated We hope to come back soon with some wider family and friends.

Everything about Bath House and our stay there, was absolutely perfect!

Amazing house, luxurious and welcoming. Open fires, log burner, beautiful enclosed gardens, parking, fantastic bedrooms. We had a lovely warm welcome, lots of nice touches.Good value for money. Fantastic catering recommendation for Kitchen Garden Somerset, who we would also rate as excellent. Great location for seeing more of Somerset. Excellent communication from the owner/host. Honestly could not fault it. We were a family group of 6 who loved it so much we have already booked to come back next year!

Quite simply amazing

The property was fantastic.

Our family had a wonderful stay and were looked after by the very responsive owners. The bedrooms were beautifully sized, very quirky decor and lots of ample communal space for the kids to run around. There is a lovely park located a very short distance away which kept the kids entertained and a Tesco 5 mins away for all your grocery needs. Would definitely visit and stay at Bath House again.

We were all in awe at the beautiful house.

The superior furnishings and attention to detail were amazing. Everything that you could ask for. The owners were attentive and very friendly. We were three generations of family getting together for the week, to celebrate a golden wedding, from 72 years down to 5 years of age. It suited us all. No one felt that they had the worse bedroom or the best, as they were all outstanding. Easy location to get to Taunton, Bath, Minehead etc. We had a fire lit most nights, played board games, cooked a roast for 13 and kids played great games of hide n seek ....... We would love to visit again ....... Perfect !

We stayed at Bath House for a week at the end of August, and the property hugely exceeded our expectations.

There were 17 of us staying at property, and there was plenty of space for us all. The house is beautifully decorated and really comfortable; and the owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The garden was actually bigger than we'd been expecting from the description, and with our party including tots, toddlers, tweens and teenagers, it really did cater to all of us. I've stayed in a lot of holiday properties in my time, and this is honestly one of the best. The local pub is a minutes' walk away and really friendly, and we spent a great afternoon at the local cider shack. There are so many things to do in the area, we didn't fit in half of what we'd have liked to do, but it gives us a great excuse to go back, and we'd definitely stay in Bath House again.

Bath House is Beautiful inside and out.

So much character, And so many little extra’s that makes it so special and luxurious. We’ve had the best week there, we were left cake on arrival and a basket with cream tea on our last day! I really cannot fault our stay. Absolutely stunning property.

Plenty of room for everyone. They really have thought of everything. Whatever you need the owner is on it straight away, no matter how big or small it is! I would definitely recommend Bath House to anyone! You would not be disappointed if you stayed here!!!

A beautiful staycation, for a family of 16.

We had a fantastic time in the Bath House cottage, loved the bedroom arrangements, very clean throughout the entire house and the detail that had gone into making it a very warm comfortable and relaxing home. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage ideal for all generations and the owners were great hosts to say the least.

We had a wonderful time at Bath House.

Three generations of one family, fourteen in all, and the house was just brilliant. Beautifully furnished, quaint, spotlessly clean and presented, and everything we needed for a great holiday. Francis was the perfect host, nothing too much trouble, and little extras that made us feel special.... even in spite of the noisy grandchildren. I have given a recommendation of 10, but would have liked to give it 15!

We stayed as a family of 11 at bath house and all had a fantastic time , it exceeded all our expectations.

We have stayed in many self catering accommodations around the uk but none with hosts with such an eye to detail as the owners of bath house, they really went above and beyond.

It really was home from home. They had thought of every tiny detail. All those little basic things you need. Spotlessly clean. They were so accommodating. Cake upon arrival and cream teas on our last day. The surrounding area is beautiful. Will definitely go back to bath house.

This is a unique property, comfortable and spacious for our extended family of 8.

Such lovely touches, a welcoming cake, music & scented candles & a leaving day cream tea. We loved the house with its quirky character, private courtyard & garden & the quaint potting shed for quiet time. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in a quiet village.

The house was amazing, beautifully decorated, v clean, comfy, with lots of lovely touches and the host was v informative and attentive but left us to ourselves. Would absolutely recommend staying here as also easily accessible to the beach, lots of walking from your doorstep, good restaurants and pubs and Clark’s shopping outlet a drive away! Also a trip to Glastonbury to get views from the Tor Thank you for our welcome chocolate cake and cream tea on the last day!! Will definitely be telling friends to visit

The bath house hosts were fantasic.

We arrived to a warm welcome and soft music and scented candle which was very nice. What can I say about the bath house but it is stunning,warm and furnishings to a very high standard. The garden and courtyard are wonderful, we were playing a game till it went dark and they noticed this and the next day a light was felt for us to see in the garden it was these lovely little touches that made a wonderful holiday amazing. On the last day we arrived back to a cream tea in a basket on the door step. As the bath house sleeps 12 (6 rooms) and we were only four of us so using three rooms we all thought it was still more than worth the money even if it wasn't, full. Go back again in a heart BEAT.

It’s the ideal location for a relaxing countryside getaway. The property is even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures suggested. All the rooms are decently sized, and the beds are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony, and spending time outside in the lovely big garden. Francis is an excellent host! His little touches (like providing us with a picnic hamper, cake and cream tea) made the experience all-the-more special. We are seriously considering visiting again!

Bath house is a beautifully crafted house.

There is a bit of history behind the house as well. The location is amazing. Close enough to local shops but in an secluded village. We had an amazing stay and the host was very accommodating. Beautiful house in beautiful location with beautiful people. We will be back soon for sure.

Bath House was amazing.

It was cozy, comfortable and had absolutely everything you could possibly need or want. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with a radio playing music, fresh flowers, a lovely candle burning in the kitchen and fresh cakes. There was an abundance of pillows, cushions, rugs and throws throughout the house making it feel so homely and pictures and little treasures everywhere you looked, lovely comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, an extremely well stocked kitchen and a lovely secluded garden all adding up to a very relaxing week. We will definitely be returning to Bath House again, in fact we can’t wait.

Bath House is a fantastic house which is beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very well equipped with copious amounts of cups, bowls, plates etc.

There was plenty of room for the 10 adults in our party to sit together, both in the lounge area and the dining room. The bedrooms are all at least doubles and the beds are extremely comfortable. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the extra touches such as the hamper in the garden seating area and the cream tea. The only small downside was that you could only watch terrestrial TV via catch-up but there was Netflix. It is worth noting that the hob in the kitchen has some induction rings and you will need to select the correct saucepan to use on these as not all will work. We enjoyed the beautifully sunny garden with a great paved area and a large lawned area for playing games. We had a fabulous time exploring the area; north coast, south coast, Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar etc. The house is in a brilliant location for all of these places.

It’s perfect for families as there is a large garden and great garden furniture to relax on. Francis was a fantastic host and was always available if we needed him. We had a great time there and would highly recommend Bath House.

We booked this beautiful house for three nights in the quiet countryside to celebrate my 22nd birthday.

What a treat!! It absolutely exceeded our expectations. Every bedroom was beautiful and unique, the dining room was perfect to throw a dinner party in, the living room was cosy and warm and there was plenty of space to cook for 15 guests. The garden was like a dream! With a patio and lots of garden decorations, plus grass space for our morning yoga and games throughout the day. The area is lovely. There’s a local pub literally on the doorstep, a yummy curryhouse and great walking spots nearby! The hosts were fantastic. They were so helpful and accommodating, catering to our every need. They even surprised us with a basket of scones - so generous !! Honestly a faultless three days away in the quiet countryside and so much love and effort has been put into making this stay special.
