“We enjoyed our stay at Westgate Cottage very much.”

It was, indeed, a delightful, traditional cottage. Clean, comfortable and delightfully presented. The kitchen was well-stocked with pans, plates, glasses etc. and the laundry area was a surprise in such an old property. I originally chose it because Lapford is on a train line but it turned out that the buses were more frequent and stopped much closed to the cottage. Many thanks to the owners for making it a welcoming space and for responding promptly when I had a question.

It's great to hear you enjoyed a comfortable stay. We are glad that the cottage was welcoming and well-equipped, also our cleaning team strive to achieve excellent standards. The utility area is a useful and convenient space to have in a period property and yes, can be used for laundry, or even storing shells if you've visited Croyde beach! Guests can benefit from exploring the countryside by both bus and train, linking Lapford with Exteter, Barnstaple, and locations on the Tarka line. Property Owner
