What guests are saying
Loved our stay.
The house felt quirky and spacious, with comfy sofas to relax in, and beautiful, clean decor throughout. Delightful to lounge in the garden room, so light and airy, and enjoy the countryside view. Every need catered for. Village is so pretty, neighbours very friendly and the shop/cafe and pub all close by and welcoming. Lots of 'passers-by' so didn't feel isolated at all. Great dog walks, directly from doorstep. Very happy to recommend.
Beautiful and well equipped cottage.
The deck over the river is a lovely place to sit and relax. The village community shop and cafe is a joy. All in all, highly recommend.
Excellent accommodation and just as described.
Very cute, quirky cottage in a lovely little village with a well stocked local shop and two great pubs nearby, one just steps away! The cottage has everthing you need, no need to take any of the basics, it's all there. The bathroom was quite luxurious and the beds very comfortable. My only advice to the owners would be that although there was an iron, we could not find an ironing board! Although we were told about a problem with the bifold doors which open onto the terrace, this could really do with being addressed to avoid any issues with severe damage to the doors in the future. Finally the toilet flush is extremely loud and goes on for an age!. Being right next door to a bedroom, nightly visits to the loo can be problematic. The hot tap also needs tightening. These things aside our party of four loved our stay at The Old Bridge Post Office very much indeed, and would not hesitate to recommend or to re visit ourselves. Thank you so much for the use of this beautiful property at a very good price for a three night stay!
