⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay at Lenny’s Place We had a fantastic stay at Lenny’s Place with our group of friends.
The property was lovely, homely and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable and relaxing break. The views across to Wales were fantastic, and the lovely town of Watchet is right on the doorstep, with plenty to explore. There are some lovely pubs serving great food, and we particularly enjoyed discovering that even the British Legion has live music on a Sunday afternoon! We couldn’t fault a thing. We did have an issue on Saturday evening, but it was dealt with swiftly and without any fuss, which was greatly appreciated and made all the difference. A lovely place to stay, in a great location, with excellent service when it mattered. We would happily recommend Lenny’s Place and would definitely love to return!
The house is very special; we loved it and it was a delight to meet the owner.
Our week was spoiled, however, by the long-standing gas main road works outside. The noise and vibration were at times intolerable, especially for our dog who became very distressed. Escaping to the deck brought some relief but generally the answer was to leave the house altogether. As these works were scheduled, well in advance, to last for very many months and throughout the summer, Sykes Cottages should have adjusted the rent by a considerable margin. Failure to notify occupants of this disruption is a serious failing on Sykes part.
We arrived to a very welcoming clean house, it was as described and a wonderful space for a family get together.
In advance it had been hi lighted about the safety concern of the rear garden and its use. The kitchen and other rooms were well equipped. Parking was available just down the road after being able to drop off at the door.
