“Overall we had a great stay, the property is lovely and has lots of great features - plenty of seating for large groups, plates/glasses etc.”

the outside playground and games room is great, and the pool area is well heated and a great space. The building is beautiful and the grounds it’s in, and the gardens are well looked after and very pretty. the outside playground and games room is great, and the pool area is well heated and a great space. The building is beautiful and the grounds it’s in, and the gardens are well looked after and very pretty. There does require some maintenance though - particularly to the pool, the little pool is borderline dangerous with many missing tiles for little feet to get injured on, and there was broken tiles and sand in the main pool too. The pool furniture has mould spots and the toilet areas smelt very damp. We enjoyed using the pool area and the warmth of it, but it felt like it needed some maintenance. The house itself was relatively clean but quite a lot of cobwebs and some vaping canisters were left about (I assume from previous guests). There were some maintenance issues with door handles and toilet seats not being secure which could do with being addressed. They didn’t impact our stay, but it would be useful for the owners to review and address for future guests. We also felt that the listing gave the impression that the house was fairly secluded, but it actually had other properties on the same site which was very close to it, which wasn’t very obvious from the pictures when booking. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend the property to others.
