The Refer a Friend offer (“The Offer”) gives people the opportunity to receive £100 cashback for every referred property that goes live on the Website subject to the below conditions:
1. The scheme is promoted by Sykes Cottages Ltd (“The Promoter”), (trading as Helpful Holidays) Registration No. 4469189 and whose registered offices is One City Place, Chester, CH1 3BQ.
2. To qualify for The Offer, you must recommend Helpful Holidays to a holiday property owner in the Westcountry and ask them to contact us quoting “100 cash back”. You can call us on 01647 401799 and ask for one of our Property Experts or alternatively send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. The Offer is currently limited to UK property referrals only.
4. Referrals will not qualify for cash back where:
a) the recommended property owner is a current Sykes (or Helpful Holidays) owner, or
b) where they have previously contacted the promoter about holiday lettings at any point from 1st January 2016 or
c) Where the property has previously been listed with the Promoter at any point from 1st January 2016.
5. There is no limit to how many properties may be referred. The cashback will be paid out for each property that appears on the website and where the referral complies with these terms and conditions.
6. No cashback will be payable if the new owner withdraws the property and the contract within the first month of taking bookings.
7. The cashback will be transferred to your nominated bank account no later than 2 months after the property is made available for bookings on our websites.
8. All referrals must be made prior to the new owner signing the contract with The Promoter. If a referral is made after the contract, redemptions will be on the basis of a goodwill gesture and at the sole discretion of The Promoter.
9. No referrals will be accepted where the referring party has a direct relationship with the referred party (such as the referred party being a corporate entity).
10. The Promoter reserves the right to change the incentive to one of equal or greater value.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to reject properties that it deems not suitable for our portfolio or holidaymakers.
12. Please only refer property owners that you know personally and who are interested in holiday letting with us.
13. The referral scheme and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes within the courts of England and Wales.
14. By quoting the referral code you agree that we may contact you for purposes relating to holiday letting with us. You may opt out of receiving information or marketing from us at any point.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to inform an Owner of the Referrers details. The Promoter will not be liable for any breach in Data Protection if the Owners permission was not sought by the Referrer.
16. No responsibility can be accepted for referrals not tracked for whatever reason or which are lost, delayed, incomplete or cannot be fulfilled for any technical, delivery or other reason.
17. Where the same property is referred by two parties, the incentive will be awarded to the first referrer to contact us.
18. This referral promotion is not available to The Promoters employees, their family members or their friends.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or extend this offer at any time.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all referrals, referrers and referred parties and to refuse to award the entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participants where there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry if the participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. All decisions will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
