Why visit North Cornwall?
Stretching along the Atlantic coast running from the town of Padstow to Bude, North Cornwall is a varied landscape of dramatic cliffs, rocky coves and lush, green moorland. The swell of the waves from the Atlantic Ocean creates some of the best surfing spots in the UK, including beaches at Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay. The South West Coast Path runs all the way along this route, providing walkers with miles and miles of headland to explore and stunning scenery to view. Keen cyclists can tackle the 18 mile route of two former railway lines that runs from Padstow to Bodmin.
There is no shortage of amazing places to eat out, none more so than the foodie haven of Cornwall, Padstow. Sample exquisite local seafood at one of Rock Stein’s restaurants or book a fine-dining experience like no other at Paul Ainsworth’s No.6.
