Why book a cottage in East Dorset?
East Dorset is a beautiful landscape with a wonderfully rural feel. It has a stunning World Heritage coastline, sandy beaches, lively resort towns, woodland, wildlife and unspoiled heathland. The coastal town of Poole has golden beaches, watersports facilities, pubs, restaurants and plenty of local attractions. Its huge natural harbour is often full of boats and there are also eight islands that can be reached by public ferry or private boat. The largest, Brownsea Island, home to a population of native red squirrels. Bournemouth, another vibrant resort town has several miles of seafront and beaches. Further inland, explore the rolling hills of the Dorset Downs or the ancient woodland of The New Forest.
