    “Great holiday great hosts”

    - Stephen, April 2022

It was lovely to have you both. You certainly made the most of the week visiting some of the beautiful locations we have on our doorstep. PS Ernie sat on the lawn and waited for Ruby to return in the evening after you had left. Property Owner

The property

Kingfisher Cottage is a charming annex in the picturesque Devon village of Bradworthy.

With wonderful views of the garden and the owners' surrounding grounds, this annex is the perfect blend of tranquil relaxation with a playful colour scheme.

It's a terrific location for couples to come and unwind after a hectic day.

When you first arrive, leave your coats and shoes in the hall before settling into your home away from home.

The kitchen, which includes a two-ring hob, a combi oven/microwave and a fridge/freezer, is ideal for entertaining, while the living/dining area, which includes a sofa, a toasty woodburning stove and a TV/DVD, is ideal for relaxing.

A dining table for two can be found in the dining area and a table and chairs can be found in the conservatory to make use of the magnificent garden view.

The bedroom upstairs includes a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom and plenty of storage, making it a great place to unwind after a day of touring.

When you wake up, relax in the garden with a cup of coffee before venturing out to explore the region.

Take a walk with your dog to the surrounding lake, or visit Bradworthy, a small, peaceful village famed for its charming ambience and the Bradworthy Inn, a local restaurant and tavern.

The beautiful Cornish town of Bude, where you may spend the day at Sandymouth beach, is easily accessible by car.

This house is a perfect location for a fun-filled break at any time of year, with close beach and country strolling, golf, surfing, fishing, horseback riding, and cycling.

The vistas of RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Docton Mill, and Hartland Quay, all just a short drive away, are attractions with a slightly slower pace.
