    “Absolutely incredible little place!”

Everything you need for a peaceful week away. Well facilitated kitchen area and a dishwasher is a bonus after cooking! Comfortable bed and a decent shower. Pool table to add to the mix, what else could you want! Local pubs and a couple of shops for the essentials whilst your away. Lots of nice little walks to the cove etc. Will be back again!

The property

Blue Oyster is an attractive, whitewashed cottage well-positioned for enjoying all the beautiful Lizard Peninsula has to offer.

With a spacious yet cosy feel, this charming accommodation is a short stroll away from the village centre, home to an array of restaurants, pubs and shops.

It is ideal for a couple looking to explore this sought-after region of Cornwall.

Park up directly outside the cottage and take in the glorious fixtures and fittings that surround you in the open-plan living room.

You will find a fabulous selection of cult photographs littering the interior, many of which are signed.

Enjoy a game of pool or sit in front of the woodburning stove and warm your toes on cold winter's evening after a day walking the South West Coast Path.

This is a lovely space in which to unwind and plan for the day ahead, even indulge in a candlelit dinner for two over a delicious bottle of wine.

The kitchen is superbly appointed, with a breakfast bar and lime green tiles against white base and wall units.

To the exterior, the sunny garden offers many a quiet spot to enjoy the views with a chilled drink in hand.

Stroll into the village of an afternoon and enjoy all it has to offer.

The Mounts Bay Inn serves tasty, locally-sourced food and Cornish real ales to sample.

Mullion Cove is a must, owned by the National Trust, it boasts a pretty working harbour, sheltered from bellowing winter gales, by stout sea walls.

Further afield you also have Falmouth, Land's End and the towns and villages of the northern coastline.

Consider a well-earned break at this delightful getaway.

About the location

MULLION

Helston 5 miles; Lizard Point 5.5 miles.

Mullion is a large village on the Lizard Peninsula, five miles south of Helston and just over five miles from Lizard Point, the most southerly tip of mainland Britain. The village is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop, as well as Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is the Poldark Mine, one of the best underground experiences in the south west and which tells of the widespread mining heritage of this area. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Mullion is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family.
