    “When we arrived just after 4pm which was check in time, Cleaners were still on the property cleaning.”

    They told us we could go inside and they would finish cleaning around the property. After a journey starting at 5am, come the 4pm check in time we just wanted to ne settled in but having people still on the property made us feel uncomfortable and we couldnt settle in and unwind like we wanted to. The apartment was how it is shown in photos and it was lovely. We had a few problems wirh cleaniness. Firstly the Hot Tub, when we opened the covers to get in, we saw dirt all around the sides, we left ...

No one had been once to check this. With it been the weekend we waited. Come tuesday we got in touch with customer services. Nothing got done about this and it was left dirty the rest of our holiday. We paid the extra for this apartment so we could have use of a hot tub which we didnt use once. We didnt want to clean it as we shouldnt have to waste our holiday by cleaning the hot tub also we wasnt sure whether someone would be sent out or not but this ruined the time of our stay. We are currently resolving this with customer services but it doesnt seem to be getting anywhere. As for the rest, as few things werent cleaned properly but was minor which we cleaned. Whether this was all rushed as we were ready to check in and they were running over im unsure of.

Defining luxury and modernity in an enviable location, An Drowes is a stunning holiday home.

Hidden away down a lane in the centre of Newquay, this property is well positioned for touring all of Cornwall as well as being only a short walk from all the famous beaches and town centre.

Taking advantage of the sea views, the house has been designed in an ‘upside down’ style positioning, with the open plan living room on the first floor.

Uplifted by natural light, the living room consists of a comfortable sitting area with large cream ‘L’ shaped sofas which allow sea views from most angles, a wonderfully well-equipped kitchen with a freestanding island and a classy dining table for four.

The ground floor is occupied by the two king size bedrooms both of which benefit from modern en-suite facilities.

Outside you’ll find the patio area complete with secluded hot tub - perfect for unwinding after a day out.

There is also a sunbathing area which can be used in the summer.

Promising complete privacy, the house has been designed with surrounding walls covering the bedrooms and garden areas.

A short walk will take you to the center of Newquay where there is a wealth of restaurants, pubs and other town attractions.

The likes of Fistral and the Great Western Beach will appeal to those surfers in the party, while the rest of the group can watch the waves from the chic bars on the seafront.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within 30 minutes. Picturesque St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is under an hour's drive or a train ride away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
