“Wolf Rock is a fantastic place to stay.”

It's our second year at the old hotel and we will definately be back. Just one suggestion. Black out curtains or blinds in the main bedroom. It's exceptionally bright in the early morning. Other than that its a fabulous place to stay. 100% recommended.

Only thing we missed were black out blinds ,would be nice in double bedroom sun shines in very early from the blinds in that room..

It is a charming apartment adding to a very enjoyable holiday. A perfect location for either a beach or walking holiday with some fantastic attractions close by, such as the Telegraph Museum and the famous open-air Minack Theatre.

“Beautiful apartment in a beautiful location!”

This was our second visit to Wolfrock and we couldn't wait to get back! On entering we discovered to our delight that the bathroom was new (lovely bath tub!) and that the flat felt as homely as it did on our first visit. Porthcurno has one of the best beaches in the world and the presence of the Minack Theatre makes it all the more special. There are great walks to be had across the clifftops in both directions and the village has a friendly beach café and pub too. It is the perfect place for an English seaside holiday. We were on the beach 5 days out of 7 and the sea was inviting and warm. The beach didn't get too busy either. Perfect! The villages close by (e.g. Treen is an easy 20 minute walk along the clifftops) are also pretty with some great pubs. Wolf Rock has everything you need for a holiday, whether with children or not. It would be homely and cosy in the winter, and is airy and light in the summer. We slept like logs throughout our stay, which in the heatwave being experienced in Cornwall last week, (7-14 July 2018) was fabulous. I would urge anyone to experience the magic of Porthcurno from the homely comforts of Wolf Rock.

Steep sloping hill down to beach car park. Beach access to sea only suitable for young children during low tide.

“We had a wonderful stay in this cosy apartment!”

The walk to the beach is at least 15 minutes, but feels really quickly. All the small things is remembered and being able to wash your clothes - what a bonus! Thank you again

“Beautiful apartment !”

A lovely apartment with a cottage feel in a perfect location . It’s an apartment but you have your own drive and front door . I think the building used to be a hotel and it’s been converted into a few apartments. It’s been really well done, lovely furnishings and decor . Everything you could want . Large double bedroom with an En suite and a separate beautiful bathroom with an amazing bath !! Open plan living and kitchen area . Not huge put perfect for a family of four . It’s a five min walk to a stunning beach and where you will find a coastal path with breathtaking views ! The Minnack theatre and the Telegraph museum are both 5 mins walk from here too . It’s a great location to explore this part of Cornwall . Loads of places to visit . Porthcurno is down a narrow road which I expect gets very busy in the summer . A great place to stay !

Wolf Rock apartment is a magical holiday destination, lying within a peaceful valley and only a few minutes walk from the beautiful, sandy, Porthcurno Beach. The nearby coastal path provides excellent walking along the cliff tops, with stunning views and access to remote beaches and coves.

The world famous Minack Outdoor Theatre is within a few minutes walk, where you can enjoy a performance under the stars with the sea as a magnificent backdrop.

This beautiful part of far west Cornwall is an ideal place to relax and unwind.

Wolf Rock apartment is within easy reach of a traditional pub at Treen just 2 miles away, it is quaint and serves good food, ales and wines.

There is a bus stop in the village, which is convenient for those who do not wish to drive everywhere.

In season Porthcurno beach café is on your doorstep offering a range Coffee's, sandwiches, salads, pasties and cream teas.

Sennen and St Buryan, are each 3.5 miles away where there are shops, pubs The area also offers horse trekking, surfing and cycling.

Small fishing villages along the coast such as Sennen Cove, Mousehole and Lamorna are great for a day out, as are St Ives and Land End.

This ground floor apartment will appeal to couples, families and to those less mobile.

It features a comfortably furnished lounge, with light modern decor and large windows offering sea glimpses.

The granite fireplace with inset wood-burner provides a cosy atmosphere, and ensures Wolf Rock can be enjoyed as a winter retreat as well as during the summer months.

The kitchen is modern and well-equipped.

PORTHCURNO

Land’s End 4 miles; St. Just 9 miles; Penzance 9 miles; St Ives 17 miles.

The small village of Porthcurno is situated four miles from Land’s End on the south coast of West Cornwall. The village has a sandy beach, a café, a restaurant that’s open during the summer season and cliff-top and coastal walks. Porthcurno is also home to the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, where you can learn about the underwater cables that connected the village to various places around the world. To the west of Porthcurno is the famous Minack Theatre, which is a superb open air venue with 750 seats and boasts views across Porthcurno Bay to The Lizard. Close by is Land’s End, the most westerly point of mainland England offering something for all the family, and also within reach are lovely Cornish towns and villages, including the popular resorts of Penzance and St Ives.
