About 45mins walk to nearest pub, or about 15mins drive, and they do a "spot on" Sunday Lunch. Owner helped us out with some things for the fire and was very quick to supply anything that was missing from the cottage! We would recommend this as an all year round place to stay. Thanks Ilze.
