    “We love Seal cottage.”

The owner has thought of everything you might need and makes it such a comfortable stay. For some the steps might be too much as you can’t unload directly from your car, but a minor thing and is clear in the description.

The property

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic elevated location in the village of Mortehoe, near Woolacombe in North Devon.

Ideal for families or a group of friends, this elegant property makes an elegant base for discovering the award-winning local beaches, pretty villages and South West Coast Path.

At the front of the semi-detached cottage there is a small patio area with seating overlooking the village and sea beyond, perfect for relaxing in the evening sunset.

Inside the property there is a bright and airy sitting room with a magnificent bay window with spectacular sea views.

Comfortable sofas are arranged around the wood burner at the front of the room and at the other side there is a dining area.

Through a door is the modern, fully-appointed kitchen with all you'll need to prepare a fantastic home-cooked meal together.

The kitchen leads out onto an enclosed patio garden with furniture, great for alfresco dining while regaling one another with tales of the day's adventures.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms, all decorated to a high quality.

The master bedroom not only boasts a king-size bed and fantastic coastal views, but also an en-suite with double walk-in shower.

The further two bedrooms have a super king-sized bed with en-suite shower room and the other has a king-size bed.

One bedroom has a zip and link bed allowing guests the option of twin beds if needed.

The village of Mortehoe is a lot quieter than its bustling neighbour Woolacombe.

It has a small beach with plenty of rockpools, a few shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a musuem and rare barrel-roof thirteenth century church.

Woolacombe is just under a mile away and offers a laid back atmosphere with an award-winning beach and a number of shops and eateries.
