The property

This superb, converted barn nestles in the heart of Devon countryside on Pittescombe Farm, some four miles from Tavistock.

The property is located on an active farm.

This reverse-level accommodation is ideal for families and large groups seeking a quality getaway for a special celebration.

It offers a homely feel, with the open-plan living room making the most of an elevated position.

It enjoys a wonderful high-vaulted ceiling, Velux windows and exposed beams for a sense of charm and character.

The comfy seating is accompanied by a woodburning stove, adding extra warmth to the space on a cold wintry evening.

The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room next door plays host to family feasts around the large dining table.

Downstairs are four super-king size bedrooms, each served by their very own bathroom suite, as well as a cloakroom (WC) and a utility housing a washing machine.

Outside you have a private, enclosed garden with a patio, lawned area and hot tub enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside.

There are even tennis courts for you to use at your own leisure, so why not organise a game of doubles?

There are some excellent walking routes on Dartmoor, as well as cycling on The National Cycle Network.

Pay a visit to the National Trust's Lydford Gorge and enjoy a family stroll through ancient woodland to marvel the Whitelady Waterfall.

Within driving distance, you also have Plymouth, the Eden Project and the South Devon AONB.

A fantastic break to be had with your loved ones at any time of the year!

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
