    “Fantastic well equipped property with a real home from home feel.”

    Superb, quiet location with very little through traffic where the only sound was from birdsong and sheep - lovely to watch the birds on the bird feeder from the conservatory. Very little light pollution so the stars were amazing. The house itself was very clean, spacious and extremely cosy with the log burner in the lounge - and the welcome cake and flowers were a real treat! This was a wonderful place to stay, very relaxing and we were extremely lucky with some glorious weather in which to ...

Its wonderful setting,15th and 16th century buildings, independent shops, arts and crafts, restaurants and cafes make it an absolute must-see for any visitor to Dartmoor.

THROWLEIGH

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. It is a village of great history, home to the Three Crowns Hotel which dates back to the 1200's. Chagford is well known for its culture, hosting film, literary and music festivals in the village as well as an annual running race. Just over 15 miles away is the bustling, beautiful city of Exeter for a different kind of break, definitely worth a visit. The charming, attractive town of Okehampton sits just 12 miles away.
